  5. Plz never forget. Keep you app simple and smooth!

    Those are the main features of a messaging app. Too much costmization and little attention to speed and smoothness make an app become bad.
    Keep your work as it is, only need to polish some corners

  7. Can i be able to change the animation of sending the messge?

    The animation that is in use right now is often laggy and i don't like IT. Would be nice if there would be a possibility to change IT.

  8. Custom ring tone and text message tone for contacts have been over ridden

    My custom ring tone and text message tones for contacts have been over ridden and I can't switch it back even though in my contacts it shows them still having the custom tones. This would make this app perfect.

  9. Multi-user support option,If you have a dual sim phone your message will divided into two,messages for sim 1,and messages from sim 2

    When responding to messages under lock screen, the swipe keyboard doesn't work. Once screen is unlocked, it works fine

  11. Put messages received from banks, facebook in same stack(thread)

    SMS sent from VA-FACEB and TM-FACEB should be grouped in one stack conversation. So there should be option to enable this feature and position of letters tobe ignored, like VA and TM should be ignored as these are used to identify the sender SMSC location and network operator. Thanks

  12. Please a character counter. My language is Spanish and max characters per sms are 120, I need to know how many they will charge

    I know there is an option to use less characters when that means less sms. But I have no way to know when I'm going overboard. Also every carrier has different limits of characters per sms. My last one was 160, now I'm using another carrier and only allows 120. So I end up spending a LOT on sms. By the way, with my earlier carrier I didn't care, because I had free sms. But the option of stripping extra characters so to spend less, does not work properly. I doesn't strip anything like accents etc. Please add character counter…

  13. Allow users to select a specific number for a contact

    The most recent version of Textra allows the selection of a specific number for a contact; however, after the number is selected Textra automatically selects a different number associated with the contact, which may not be a mobile number (or may be the mobile number with extra digits attached to unblock my number to the recipient, as in the *82 function). This issue results in chronic failed messages and a complete inability to use Textra for messaging. Please fix this glitch.

  14. Get rid of or have option to block email contacts inserting into messages when trying to text.

    All too often an email from the contact list is automatically inserted into message bodies instead of the word you are trying to text. Can this be removed or disabled?

  15. Bluemail Integration?

    I’m using BlueMail as my e-mail app. When someone sends me an e-mail with a phone number, the phone number is highlighted. I'm able to tap on the number to call it, and long-press to add it to my contacts. Is there a way to long-press to send a text message using Textra? I’m not sure if this can be enabled through Textra?

  17. Retain emoticon favourites / recents list between upgrades

    Every time I upgrade Textra I have to start again with my emoticon favourites. Can it be backed up somewhere, and maybe editable?

  19. Option: Stop counting conversations with notifications turned off

    When notifications are turned off for a selected contact, option to stop counting them for the number tag on the icon, AND no number tag on the conversation

    Example: Twitter mobile notifications - since I get them from the app, I don't also want to have to clear notifications from the conversation, and I don't want them to be counted as unread in any situation.

  20. "Mark all as Read" button in conversation list (next to search button)

    Add a button, or replace the search button (which I've never used), to Mark All as Read at the top of the conversation list.
