Conversation Contact icon customization.
It would really be great if there was an option to customize the contact icons on the conversations list: on/off, size, color, etc.

Scheduled message date/time declaration
after setting up a scheduled message, it would be very practical for it to display the 'day and time' that the message will be sent. At the moment it it's only clear the message has not yet been sent, but not when it will be sent.

Confirm send for conversation
I use Textra since some time and have tried Mood. But Textra still my favorite.
I'd like to submit an idea because, I've got a contact whose I need to take precautions with sms and don't send them to a bad target one.
Maybe you can imagine a feature to confirm sending texts with popup to some contacts with a sending preview.
I didn't find a textiging solution able to do that thing. And i think, it can be usefull for some people.
You'll be sure that, if you develop this feature, i'll buy the ads remover !Thanks !

transparent/translucent background
have a transparent/ translucent background or theme option so a blurred image of the home screen shows through the app

Emphasis on Pinned Threads
either have the background of the thread slightly darker/lighter than the current theme and make the content bolder so when you're looking through your message list, your pinned thread stands out more

stranger folder
ive been using another famous sms app for android since the time i android phones came to be.. (just saying), i liked that app but i never bothered to feedback. i tried this textra app and i immediately liked the clean interface and its cute animations.. all nice to see.
i disabled my long time sms app for the first time and gonna try this app for weeks. im sure to switch already. i do hope however, that you can add this functionality to keep the threads neat.. cluster all messages coming from non-registered numbers.. this is a feature available…

custom interval for repeat notifications
i very much appreciate the option to repeat notifications for unread messages. however i find that the 2 minute interval is too short. sometimes I'm too busy to answer but want to be reminded later. the only option now is to repeat every 2 for up to 10 or more minutes which can be annoying and also mask other separate notifications. please allow for 5, 10 or custom reminder intervals for notifications. otherwise keep up the great work, I'm a proud pro user.

Video (duo) call button from textra
Along with the phone call button, add a video call button to start a video conversation with the contact directly from textra. Only show the option for contacts that have duo.

User defined night mode schedule
I would like night mode available to auto switch well before 10pm. Especially in the winter. Right now I manually switch between the two. Please consider allowing the user to set the auto switch schedule. Thanks!

Expanding Message Bubble
I'd like the message bubble to expand up to the leftmost tip of the recipient's reply bubble. I usually send long messages due to explanations and business purposes and it's tiring for me to keep on scrolling them. It'd be okay if you could expand the message bubbles so it will not be troublesome. That's what the sms apps have now nowadays like Pulse or Mood.

Rapid Fire Texting Silencer
So I think this would be a really useful feature because I think we all have a friend who does this. Rapid fire texting is when someone will send more then one text all at once making your phone go off constantly. It would be nice if there was a feature to add that allows us to hear the first message with a alert sound and then all the following rapid fire texts be silenced. I know there's a solution for rooted andriods but I would rather not root my phone.

Add Google Assistant Integration
The Google Assistant doesn't appear to detect Textera as a choice for sending text messages. This should be fixed.

Change font color
We should be able to change the color of the fonts in messages and in the menus. I use the dark background but hate the glaring white font. It would be nice if I could change to a color that is easier on the eyes.

Security for web preview
Is there a way to limit web previews to only people in your contact list? Hitting urls for unknown senders seems like a significant security risk.
