    Why isn't there black color for bubbles? Just want to see text and no bubble on what I type but bubble for the receiving text.

  4. Vibration notification patterns

    Hello,

    I really like your product, it's a full featured SMS and MMS client that works great for almost everything I do. That being said I have one suggestion: increase the amount of notification vibrations. I find the long ones to obtrusive and if I set it to the shorter ones I often miss them. I'm sure there is a middle ground or perhaps you could create a feature to allow users to make their own vibration patterns?

  8. Option to disable links parsing

    Please remove it or make an option to disable parsing links in sms! This is really annoiyng thing.
    When I get sms from my bank with some link it takes too much space on screen.

  9. Mark messages as read when connected via Bluetooth to my vehicle like the stock App does

    First let me say I think your app is the best I've ever used! I have used Go Sms Pro, Handcent, and up until now, the factory default Messages App that came preinstalled on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

    I've been using Textra for 1 day now and I love it! It is buttery smooth and fast. No freezes or glitches like the stock App. I'm pretty sure it is using less battery life too.

    The one suggestion I have is could you make it work the way my stock Messages app does when I'm connected to my car via…

  10. support for gboard gifs

    I'm not sure if this is possible, but support for being able to use gifs from Google's updated gboard app (formerly Google keyboard) would be great.

  11. please provide a search option to search for a particular msg or a person's name.

    It's very hectic if I want search a msg among all of the messages I request you to provide a search option (like stock messaging apps have ) so that we can find a particular msg or person directly without going through entire message threads.

    I think your messenger app is one of the most usefull app i ever use. Just missing the dual sim function. The best way would be, having a swype left<-> right to go from one to another sim. by this way we can receive message like in two separate "boxes" and send without mistake. Please be kind with us, give us something like that... beggin, beggin youuhouhouu ;)

  17. Dual Sim

    Make textra support dual sim settings for dual sim phones so that we will be no longer using the stock sms app for the 2nd sim sending. This will improve more your application thanks alot

  18. gif support with GBoard

    Google keyboard was just updated to GBoard and now has gif in it, however your app is not supported. But you have the best texting app around if you could support that it would be amazing

  19. Bring back group contact photos

    i hate how it just shows the number of people in the group chat. make it like it was before and show the contact photos not the theme color

  20. Text selection to copy

    currently:
    user can copy whole message on message selection on long press.
    there is no way to copy selected part of the message, including text, links, numbers...

    enhancement:
    Selection mode so user can select and copy only particular, selected part of the message.
    if long press is taken under url or a number, user should be able to copy it as well.
