When typing in caps, after you send a message there should be an option for it to stay on caps for the next message until you turn it off

Option to Disable Certain Numbers from Appearing as Suggestions
It would be great if we could have an option to remove certain phone numbers (home/work #s) from coming up as an option to text to. For example, when I start a new message and search "Steve" I have a home phone, work phone, and cell phone number saved under his contact. Frequently I find myself mistakenly clicking on the wrong number to message due to my fast typing and multitasking. Usually numbers incapable of receiving SMS return a "message not delivered" text back, but there are instances where I text the wrong cell number for a person and I…

show last names in the app
when I search for someone's name in the app it doesn't show me their last name, so if I have a bunch of Shaun in my phone it just shows all the seans but no last names I don't know which one is which I have to go into my phone app and then go to message them and then it takes me back into Textra. it would be nice if when searching for contacts I could see their last name

Recipient Confirmation at Send
Great app .. idea for great addition: similar to the delayed send, would be AWESOME to have a recipient confirmation option at send, for those times when you sloppily send the wrong message to the wrong person or persons. Thank you for the great app.

Bugfix: message preview from newly-added contact
When I receive a text from a group message where the sender is not yet in my contacts, but then I add them to my contacts, the preview of the most recent message in the chat still shows the phone number and not the name. When I open the chat, the name is displayed properly.

Ability to edit position for notifications in notification bar
please make it so that when quick compose is enabled in the notification bar it can be moved to the top of the notifications as well as received messages as they all come to the bottom with quick compose and it's easy to miss new messages when they are at the bottom of notifications. thanks

Scheduled sending+
I would love to be able to have the app to send texts automatically the same time every day until I tell it to stop. For example, my car has a heater which I start with a text. instead of sending a new scheduled text every day I can tell the app to automatically start the heater every day.

Option to show app as "Messages" under app icon
Looks more official. All of the top messaging apps, regardless of who makes them, show as "Messages" under the app icon in the app drawer/ homescreen.

Group chat names
Allow group chats to be named and not just the names of the participants

Be able to send more than one text outside of app
Right now if someone texts you and your not in the app, when you reply youll only be able to send one text before it closes the window. There should be a setting to turn off automatically closing the window, using the back button instead to close the window so you can send multiple texts.

Please put microphone button on main screen. Once it was their , now its not until I start typing please put back on their helps me
Please hit the microphone button back on the main screen cuz it helps me when I'm in a hurry and when I'm driving and I don't like to text when I'm driving it was on there then it wasn't it and it was on there now it's not and it helped me out a lot and it doesn't show up until I start typing a word this is not help me out at all please put it back on the main screen

Allow more customization!
We are loyal to Android because we can customize so much. I would love to be able to change the hues available... even a slider to lighten or deepen the color. Give us the ability to add a color to our background. Light or dark doesn't cut it! I love this app, but REALLY want to make it mine on MY phone.

Sharing brings up conversation list
When you share outside the app and pick Textra you get a contact search. It should go to your condo list, so you can pick a group for instance, because it's otherwise impossible. I'm not sure why it's like this but I e never used a messaging app that doesn't give you your conversations as an option. Can't use this app without that.

location choice sim button
I have a recurring problem when I type the texts. I often inadvertently press the button to choose the SIM card. also I have to monitor each text message if the selected SIM card is the right one. it's weary. would it be possible to move this button away from the keyboard, the text being typed, and the notification area?

Read-only messaging
There are a lot of notifications coming as SMSs (from banks, telco, etc.) and you'll never send something back to these contacts- this made chat "read-only". Will be nice to have an option to mark a contact as read-only and thus not showing "send message" area below messsages fflow.
