  1. The status bar notification disappears within seconds, when receiving messages for the active conversation, even if the phone is locked!

    When the screen gets locked, all the notifications for the current (active) conversation disappear very fast.
    That is the only issue I have with this app, elwhich I consider excellent and very pleasant to use.

    The stock Samsung app was only automatically clearing the notification when the screen was unlocked, and thus the message was read.

  5. Help

    I have about 3 months of texts between my girlfrend and I that I'd like to backup maybe by emailing to myself. What is the most efficient way to send all in a zip file or something easy and quick to save?
    Please email me a step by step process and what I should be seeing when I do this.. to this point the only way I've seen to do it is to manually click on each and every text page by page .....which is way too labor intensive and time consuming.

  6. Allow media such as YouTube to play while quick responding

    When I quick reply while watching or listening to music on YouTube, the video automatically pauses. Using a system similar to that of messenger - a screen overlay (accessible when you click on the notification, not like a chat head.) will allow us to enjoy our music on third party applications while chatting with our friends!

  7. To be able to cast 'no'' votes

    Some of these ideas on here seem so dumb to me but I don't want to comment, it would help if you knew that out of the 3000 votes for some mango emoji or other nonsense you also had 5000 votes saying we don't need no freakin mangos

  9. A toggle that will silence messages from unknown senders.

    This will come on handy when I don't want to be bothered by notifications from banks, carrier notifications or messages from unknown senders but I can still review them when I next go into my messages.

    I would Love to see more, COLOR OPTIONS Under the, "Bubble Style Section"?

    When I click on the, "Bubble Style Section" I ALWAYS have TROUBLE trying to MATCH my, FONT COLORS, with the, BUBBLE STYLE COLORS I CHOOSE, along with, the THEME COLORS I CHOOSE!?

    I Get Really Frustrated, with this SIMPLE, YET IGNORED, & EASY FEATURE??? LOL I don't know? Maybe it's my OCD kicking in, But I Really just want to be able to have The Following Items, ALL MATCH UP:

    *MY BUBBLE STYLE COLORS
    *MY FONT COLORS
    *MY KEYBOARD COLORS

    I believe by adding this Simple, but…

    Example if the user types omw it recognizes those letters that the user programs and replaces it with on my way. Or if the put np as the shortcut but it auto corrects it to no problem. And many other shortcuts like this.

  15. Disable texting a specific contact for a custom period of time

    This idea is designed for those moments when you are feeling helpless, neurotic and compelled to express what you are feeling, but you still feel the need to protect the people that you love and that love you back from yourself.

    This feature would fill a void when you need to keep an open channel of communication, and blacklisting someone is not appropriate.

  20. Bug of last picture sent or received

    I've encountered a big where sometimes when I close the app, the last picture sent it received by me through the Textra app stays up in the the phones picture viewer. I then have to close this image as well to get to the home screen.
