  5. no 'unread' bulk

    show messages individually instead of '5 unread messages' etc. at least the option for it. look at Google messenger's style of notifications

  6. multi message notifications

    as of now when I have messages from four or more individuals or group messages the notification icon is either black or completely invisible but still takes up space on my notification bar. I suggest the icon be at least 2 of the message icons staggered one behind the other with the same color chosen by the user for the usual notification.

  7. Hoping for Dual SIM compatibility

    Textra, as an app I am using since I buy a Phone, is somehow a really great app however besides of its greatness and beauty, it seems that it lack something. Now a days, android phones have Dual Sim card slots, from samsung, asus zenfone, up to generic brand android phones. So I believe that Textra should cope up with these upgrades.

    Also, private messeges are good too though, some messaging app have this kind of feature.

    Hope this ideas, will be implemented on your next update.

  8. Better idea system.

    How about a moderator that can group some of these together. I and many others have requested a quick reply canned text msg to send just like the built-in app for at least the last 4 yrs. It seems all my votes are spread out across 10 threads, I stopped at 10 realizing this is futile. I'm forced back to the stock app until I discover quick messages are available on Textra. Thx!

  9. Text to multiple people showing up in individual thread

    In another app (I forget which), when I texted multiple people, the outgoing text would show up in my individual chat with all of those people. That way when I clicked the one on one text conversation, I could easily see everything that I had sent to them.

    Is there a way to do this currently?

  10. Light gray background

    Really like your app, but the current 'Light' background is pure white which puts a strain on the eyes. Would much prefer a light gray background with white dialog boxes, with the option of adjusting light-dark on a scale.

  11. Swiping away notifications

    The issue with the app now, is where. I am using my phone and the overlay comes on the screen for a new message and I need to keep working on what I wS doing I swipe it away off the screen. THE PROBLEM is that the app now says I read that message when I didn't. Would love for this to get fixed.

  12. Iphone ballon and firework message

    If there was a way to also have the ballon and firework messages like the iPhones do. I just think it looks pretty cool and is a neat idea..... apple should not have all the cool things.

  13. message limits per conversation

    I love that you added limits but I don't want to limit my wife's texts or my kids just others. Can you please add the option of limiting each conversation individually?

  16. Differentiate my messages from the contact's message in the conversation list

    It would be nice if on the conversation /message list, there was a tick or an arrow or something similar so you would know if the last message you see on the screen was yours or your contact's.

    If there was a panel or some easy way to set up events in which a person could separately delay messages as event reminders it would be awesome
