    Integrating video chat would make textra the ideal messaging app for those in business or having a friend call to say a simple hey.. It woukd take textra to the next level in communications.

  2. More pop-up menu options to git rid of redundant menu in top right

    On the single tap bubble that appears when touching a message, you should include all options in the pop-up, rather than requiring the user to then tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner to do things lock lock messages

  4. Replace text "textra" from the top bar

    Its better to put "conversation" or "messages" on the top bar instead of "textra". And i think it is best to still put "textra" but on the top or bottom or beside "conversation" and smaller.

  5. View MMS photos from smartwatch and Additional reply options

    It would be nice to be able to view a photo sent through a MMS on a smartwatch as with Google Hangouts. Also, increase reply options from just voice and emojis to include pre-written responses like "Im Driving", "Ok", "See you later", etc.

    This will alow users to gauge how many messages are available. And maybe an option to easily scroll to the bottom using scrollbars.

    Hi Textra developers,

    Your app is amazing and I have a suggestion that you may consider adding.
    It's Multi Window support.
    All you have to do is to add a few lines of code in Android Manifest to get that feature working.

  10. Use stock camera app for photo attachments

    When attaching photos I take with my phone, I would prefer to use my phone's stock camera app. The camera that opens from within Textra does not have the full functionality of the stock camera.

  13. Ability to setup pre-defined Groups

    Android/Google used to provide functionality to create a pre-defined group consisting of contacts. Then from there you could just lookup/draft a new message to the group instead of typing in everyone you need in the thread every time you lose the thread.

  14. Update Floating Action Button shadow assets

    The floating action button looks like it uses an older version of makovastar's FAB library. If this is the case, simply updating this will fix how the shadow looks. If that's not the case, then I know it will be some amount of effort but please update the assets or even use the elevation parameters on API 21+
