  4. Default Bubble Colors - Improve Options

    As a recent migrant from Handcent, I'm loving having discovered Textra.
    The offered colors under 'Defaults for Bubble Colors' are fun, but every color (except white) ties the font color to white. A big improvement, for me, would be adding (say) four pale colors with the associated font color in black.
    That's something that, for me at least, would add a lot and maybe wouldn't be tricky to incorporate.

  5. scroll to top of the message.

    Simple button that let's you scroll to the first message from a contact. Make it so once you scroll up a little up arrow button pops up in the corner or something similar.

  8. Change from letters to symbols automatically

    When I type out a text and have to use symbols it's annoying to have to hit the symbols or ABC button to switch back and forth.

  15. Faster 'later' and 'open app' options

    I don't use these options as they are within a menu. Maybe swipe up could be for 'later', and tapping the contact name could open the thread within the app?

    The auto keyboard on the upswipe when I reach the bottom of an incoming text. It's unnecessary and cumbersome. I can hit the text box if I want my keyboard.

  18. Pre contact color setting changes header as well.

    Currently it only changes the color of the bubbles. I would like to see it change the color of the header (to match) as well.

    When in group conversations can you have a contacts custom color reflected there as well.

  19. Reset to message list after reading message and closing app.

    Allow app to reset to message list after reading message and closing app. Then we wouldn't have to search for new messages after they arrive by closing the message we last read
