  1. One way to correct problems sending MMS

    Had issues sending MMS this weekend, receiving some error about the wrong APN. Tried to fix using posts here. What ultimately fixed it:
    - Go into application manager, selecting Textra
    - Force stop Textra
    - clear all data for Textra
    - restart phone

    Takes a few minutes to restore, but ultimately fixed the issues. FYI, I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 on Verizon.

  3. Whats with the ads

    I have been using the app for 6 months and out of nowwhere i got a msg saying to upgrade or receive ads. Well im taking option c, uninstalling too many good free no ad sms apps out there.

  4. Change floating notification to bubble instead of a huge bar

    The floating notification comes up as a huge bar that takes up a third of my screen so I have to click it to get it off. If it were just a bubble I could keep it on my home screen until ready to read.

  5. Contact bubbles

    It would be great if you guys could implement an option for different colored contact bubbles like in the new Google messenger, it looks very good.

  10. Notification

    I always have 3 messages per my indication of I have 0 or more. It won't clear. Is there a bug? I have uninstall and reinstall a few times and have the pro version. What can I do to correct this?

  11. Add page number and letter count.

    Love this app so far but missing the ability to know how large my text message is. Missing the visual letter and page count. And to know if larger message is sending MMS or in multiple pages. If you could add this... It would help greatly. Thank you.

    Hi ! I'm using your Textra App for 2 weeks now and i'm really in love with it ! So I tought about how improve it.

    I think it can be very cool to be able to differ messages ! This app will stand out of others apps !

    Reloaded 3 times, 200 texts per half hour on in phone settings, nothing else to do.. Last update messed me up.

  14. Use system single/group contact notification tone.

    In the standard android contact app, you can set message notifications for individuals or for groups. Any chance Textra could (by default) use the system setting for a contact's notification sound?

    When someone sends me just a link. And I want to just copy the text. When I long hold it opens the link without prompting me whether I should copy or open.

  16. load advert in contacts list before making contact list visible

    load advert in contacts list before making contact list visible. massive problem here...i open textra, no advert appears, i go to press my contact from the list, as my thumb goes down an ad appears as the first contact shuffling all contacts down the list by 1 placeholder, thumb then selects wrong contact to open. solution: load advert first, then make interface visible. grrrrrrrr!!

  18. tetra has started using a ton of data since ads were added. it used several hundred megs in a week and caused me to go over my limit.

    Throttle your ads a little? Otherwise I'm gone.
