  2. Set a reminder for an individual message

    It would be fantastic if we had an option to set a reminder for an individual text. Like, to click on a message within a text thread and be able to "Set Reminder" or "Remind Me", which would then bring up a prompt to enter a title for your reminder as well as a date and time, and you'd get an alert on Textra at that date and time to do that thing.

  4. Contact name customisation

    Allow the display of a custom contact field at the end its name and surname such as:
    "Alice Patterson (Work)" or "John Doe (MrJohnUsename)"

    Using a drop-down menu, a user is allowed to choose within a list of contact fields name

    too many current steps to get to gallery albums. current steps are click plus, select photo option, select hamburger on right, select browse, select gallery option.

  10. Backup & Recovery Messages

    Create or guide best practice to Backup & Restore Messages after Factory Reset. Funny I see over year old messages after reloading app but huge gap. More current would be preferred but all would be best.

    Add Flag messages, and Mark as Unread.
    Use msg badges to indicate the number of unread, leave badges blank for flagged, no badge for read msgs.

  12. I wish voice to text handled numbers differently

    When using voice to text, I would love it if numbers wouldn't always resolve as time. I just tried to voice-to- text my friend about the snow we're expecting to get, and it displayed as "My weather app says 3:00 to 5:00" instead of " 3 to 5". By default it displays spoken numbers as time if you say "o'clock" afterward, so it would be nice if it wouldn't default to time when you just say a number.

    new update idea for Android users : give us an option to send an SMS/MMS text or an RCS chat. the difference is you get read receipts with RCS chats, whereas you don't get those with SMS or MMS texts
