    Basically when you write for certain persons you can name this thread as example friends, work ect.

  2. Triggered Send

    many times I run into a situation where, for all sorts of different reasons: schedules, meetings, underground or on a plane, asleep someone I intend to send a message or response to is unavailable or the timing would be less than idea BUT no one, not them, not me know exactly WHEN WOULD BE ideal.

    So the Textra user composes the message and INSTEAD of scheduling a send being what controls the timing of the send , the Textra user sets a TRIGGER such that (for instance) ANY/the next received message from that person immediately results in the pre-composed message…

    Adding groups or tabs for conversations, mainly to differentiate your actual texts from two-factor code texts or other spam/automated messages. A way to have actual conversations/contacts in one place

  5. Who Texted Last - You or Them

    When you're looking at all your messages in the app, it would be awesome if there was a way to tell who responded last in the conversation without having to click on each individual conversation. for instance if you were the last to text it would show "You: the text you sent" if it was the other person, it would just be the words from their text

    When I add another recipient, it would be cool if the app showed me people I've grouped with the first recipient previously.

  10. Toggle notifications for message reactions

    I would like to be able to disable (and re-enable by choice) notifications for message reactions by others.
    Now, mine gives the same signal for reactions as it does for actual new messages. Often confounding. Thanks very much!

  14. Allow choosing folder to use when attaching photos

    I have a rash on a private part of my body. I'm taking photos of it every day for my doctor. I put those photos in their own folder so they don't show up with my other photos.

    It would be fantastic if I could configure a folder for Textra to get photos from when I want to attach a picture to a message. As it is now, it shows me all photos from every folder, so I'm at risk of accidentally texting my family a picture of my butt

  15. Group Chat Text Bubbles

    in group chats, the name of each person is inside each text bubble of theirs. but since I can color the bubbles, I can already identify who's who. the names take up unnecessary room, maybe option for turn it off?

  17. More Obvious Group Chat Indicator

    Sometimes I will accidentally reply to a text message not realizing that it is a group chat instead of an individual chat. Perhaps there is some way to make it abundantly obvious that a message is a group chat. For example, perhaps the message title could be prefixed with "Group Chat: " and then the list of names/numbers.

  18. Visual improvements with subtle shading and outlining

    Many messaging apps like Signal and Telegram have slight shading and outlining across their UI and messages. These little details make things look much cleaner and more visually appealing, as well as making it seem less cheap and simple.

    Even as an option in the settings, subtle visual improvements like these improve the experience pretty greatly. Looking professional and clean goes a long way.

    And, to take it a step further, what if Textra adopted an option for gradient coloring, like Signal? On Signal, when you're customizing a conversation you can simply choose a color or you can choose two…

    It would be good if it was possible to mark a specific conversation as read. This could be a swipe action, like with delete, or after long pressing to select the conversation.
