  2. Colour in conversation list reflect last message sent/received.

    At a glance, I can't tell in the conversation list if the last message was sent or received for each contact. It would be great if the bubble color reflects this for each contract. It would at least be great to have this option. Even having arrows pointing in different directions could do this, though not very elegantly.

  4. Combine multiple texts received from 1 contact in a very short period of time into 1 text and eliminate multiple, quick notifications.

    Messages from iPhones tend to get broken into multiple shorter messages that arrive simultaneously and cause an annoying flurry of notification

    When picking a photo should be able to pick which album to get photo out of not all photos displaying. I have hundreds of photos hard to pick if all are showing.

  9. Select the background colour for the notification drawer

    No idea of this is even possible, but being able to distinguish the notification drawer quick compose would make it easier to find amongst other persistent notifications, and thus that much quicker.

    Not sure if Air View is still only available on Samsung phones, but it's one of the first things I noticed was missing in Textra when moving from stock messenger.

    Option to hover over a message from the main screen to preview it (if the message text is longer than the width of the screen)

  15. Enable a use of different themes other than just color for backgrounds, text bubbles designs and fonts.

    A more stylish themes for the background than just plain colors. also giving people the options of mix and matching the different fonts and different designed text bubbles for the background one may choose. or sinply allowing one to use the assign font that is set on one's phone.

  16. Adding an apostrophe

    When I ad an apostrophe (like in we've)the keypad automatically reverts back to letters from symbols ready to ad the next letter - like my old iPhone 4 used to do by default.

  17. More options of the notification box.

    Instead of only getting to change the color, can we get more chioces on what notification icons to choose from instead of just the T in the message box for the top of the screen.

  19. Nexus 5, Android 5 - Priority Mode Issue

    Nexus 5, Android 5, Textra as standard SMS app:

    Textra ignores Priority Mode. Even with Priority Mode on (and messages set as not important/not a priority - meaning: phone shouldn't beep for SMS in Priority Mode) Textra plays notification sound anyway when SMS arrives.

    That's pretty bad, because at night one switches to Priority Mode, since this is the mode that allows the alarm to wake me up in the morning.

    I guess the root of the problem is that there is no silent mode any more in Android 5. It's been replaced with Priority and None Mode (None doesn't…
