  7. Set Image as Message Icon

    It would be a great customization option to change the bubble for each message in the app to be an image instead of just a color. Just like setting a profile pic but for each person individually or per group message.

    More or less the title: Silence incoming texts from contacts if they exceed 3 with 5 minutes, returning to normal contact settings in 15 minutes so long as other texts are not received to "refresh" this condition.

    I think this would mitigate a large portion of the issues associated with people sending too many messages, as your phone would only go off a max of 3 times before this specific contact silencing was invoked.

  11. Add person to single chat to make group

    Need ability to add a person or persons to a single chat to create a group rather than starting from scratch. It's not uncommon to be in chats and want to it send to that person and another. More efficient and intuitive to 'add person' than stumble around, realize can't, and build new group with that person + another/others

    maybe I'm the only one, maybe not. But often when I log in and come to the ideas I see a lot of requests for things that either are already there and maybe they don't know it or they're impossible to do. These types of messages seem to fill up a remainder quite a while which isn't good for you and isn't good for the customer.   17. Allow sorting of blocklisted numbers

    SPAM is one of the top 3 challenges for mobile phones users... SMS spam is the toughest to address as spammers use unending different numbers to ghost their own real number.

    Textra has done a few cursory improvements to help customers with spam. I am grateful yet it doesn't scratch the surface of the need.

    First: Give users robust control over reviewing the blocked list using filters. This is not a convenience request; it is necessary to manage the neverending hundreds upon hundreds of blocklisted numbers users aquire.

    Accidentally blockisting a righteous contact is a total nightmare to correct.

  18. Transfer settings between phones

    Please add the option to save your settings file (even externally) so that when moving to a new phone you can import those settings. Not just the settings, but importantly the Blocklist! I have hundred or so numbers on my old phones block list. Now that I'm on the new phone they're all gone and no longer on the list.

    is it possible to have a reply feature in a specific bubble? so I may send replies to certain bubbles in a conversation. this is a great feature!
