Sort Unread to Top
it would be nice to have an option to sort messages so that unread were at the top.
Don't always have time to reply and then messages get lost in sheer number of messages.

a while ago I was able to exclusively assign a ringtone alert just for my texts received messages. an update must've erased that feature in settings? please bring it back!

do not accept 10-digit virtual phone numbers
Stop spam + robo texts by giving me an opportunity to not accept messages from specific area codes... Please.
I mean 'not even receive those texts' rather than needing to blocklist numbers which leaves repeated and subsequent chats in my block list.

Convert typed symbols to emojis
Is there a function that will convert typed symbols and text into emojis? for instance, :) converts to a smiley face. I looked through the settings and couldn't find anything about this. it does not happen by default. would love for something like this to be built in. thank you!

Textra needs to implement some kind of access to history!
I love everything about the texture app except where it's lacking with access to any history. With the Messages app that's included in Samsung phones, it allows access to deleted texts through its trash option, as well as any text sent or received is also included in the Phone app recents history.
It would be great to see Textra add at least one of these solutions if not both to access deleted texts.1 vote -

The sender’s number is blocked (optional).
The message is hidden and not shown to the user.
