    I would like to suggest adding a new feature to the app:
    automatic extraction and auto-fill of one-time verification codes (OTP) from SMS messages.

    This feature would allow the app to automatically detect verification codes received via SMS and present them as a quick auto-fill suggestion when entering the code in any application. It greatly improves user experience, reduces manual typing, and enhances both speed and convenience.

    email seems to have a "promotions" and "focused" main inbox filters on all apps. But, is but intuitive and usually makes it more complicated to find your stuff. What if a premium feature (yeah, I'm elitist! I've loved Textra for years!!) is a "focused" folder?

    All messages go to the same place, "texts" or whatever. Users can select conversations to move to their "real conversations" (or whatever!?) to a special area. the special area is where user's active conversations live. it can have some sort of extra notification layer. but the old og inbox then becomes the dying ground for…

    It would be great to be able to merge same text threads.

    This sometimes comes in affect when you have an existing text thread and want to send a video.

    If you send the video from your gallery, it will be send to the right person who you pick, but it starts a brand new text thread for some reason.

  17. Back button should always go to inbox

    Recently back (in app button or Android OS) has been exiting the app to home screen instead of inbox depending on how a message was accessed. Its very annoying and causes a lot of extra steps.

    I would love to see Textra include a secure folder for private chats. To keep it truly hidden, the folder could only be revealed by typing a password in the search bar. This would ensure maximum privacy and security.

    Along with this, having a hidden Whitelist/Blacklist option would help users manage contacts more easily.

    It would also be very useful if number blocking could apply not only to SMS but also to calls. To make it flexible, users could simply tick the options they prefer:

    Block calls only

  20. Option to open app instead of bubble

    It would be nice if there was ab option to disable the "bubble" when tapping an incoming message either from the banner or notification drawer. I prefer to have the message open directly in the app where I can reply from and not a bubbled message that disappears.
