    We need the ability to add people and/or be able to dismiss ourselves from a group text !!

  4. Where is add this number to contacts?

    I know it is under .../Add, but it took me a while to realize it does that and I was under impression that it adds people to the conversation.
    It is really better if it is renamed to "Add contact" which describes its function.
    I even though it does not do this and I switched back to Google SMS app until I gave it a try on an unimportant system SMS and finally found out!

  6. Receive "Reactions" Appropriately

    I don't want to keep receiving each individual "like" or "laugh" reaction as a separate, copied message -- especially in group chats with several reactions. If the appropriate emojis could just appear over the relevant message, that would be great 👍

  7. Unlink site links

    I hope you unlink link-based texts so that they're not clickable. In our country, we receive 10-20 spam/scam texts with attempts to hack our phone using links.

  8. Notification selection toggle

    I like the "temp window" that opens when tapping a notification for quick responses. However I wish there was an option you could toggle to either continue doing that or to instead open the app fully. Alternatively an "expand" button or something of that sort to transition from the quick reply to the full app.

  9. Change Message Color In GC

    I wish we could change the color of different members of a group chat (to distinguish senders) WITHOUT that then changing the color of that person's private chat as well.

  11. Auto Reply--away from phone

    Much like an email auto response when you're away from the office on vacation or sabbatical or whatever. When you're away from your phone for an extended period of time or just want time away (especially if work related) you can create a message to say "leave me the hell alone", etc.

    There should be an archive option for messages, I have to use another app for this purpose and I'd rather not. This way it's not on the main screen and can still be accessible. Especially a lost loved one.

  13. Ability To Block Numbers Only And Not Entire Messages

    Could you please add a way to block phone numbers without having to save the suspect text or MMS message and any suspect links in those messages inside a block list

  14. scheduling texts

    I had this option through vanilla texting apps, so I'm really hoping this feature gets implemented, but being able to write up texts and just have them scheduled to send later in the day/week is so helpful. good for sending myself reminders and such.

  15. another in support of a built-in backup option....

    Just want to put my word in along with all the others that while I'm aware that i can backup to onedrive, dropbox, google via 3rd party app and texra copies to the native app, I'd prefer to pay for something more integrated. I just don't have any more directions I can divide my attention using third party app means staying on top of yet another app to make sure it's doing what it needs to do, is permissions don't get changed by some update, or some other nonsense that fails without you realizing it.   20. Block options

    Please add more robust options to block/filter messages. I would love a spam folder or a way to block texts originating from emails as that seems to be really only used for scams. This is becoming more important by the day as these scammers are increasing texts along with calls and emails.
