  1. App for Chromebook

    It would be awesome if you could get this app on a Chromebook! I know Google owns the Chromebook but their messaging app is subpar to Textra in my opinion 😁 But the ease of texting from my laptops is very useful, especially when I'm working. In the meantime, I change my message app to Google but that's not as good.

  2. Android Auto Compatibility

    Can you please develop a way to allow the app to work with Android Auto. My Ford Sync 3 system with android auto states there's no app associated for messaging.

    If an sms fails, please allow an option to automatically retry sending after 1 minute.
    you could also specify the max number of retries and default to 2.

    I'd like to text TO KEEP from windows phone link but it doesn't pull up on the app because there is no associated phone number or contact for KEEP.
    This would allow KEEP to be a quick and easy means to transfer bits of info between devices.

    Pretty self-explanatory. I would like a way to disable the Textra bot.
    I already paid for the premium version of the app - I don't want anything other than my conversions in my convo list.

  11. Plz correct article on "can't get mms timeout"

    I'm running android vsn 13. I switched to a different messaging app and the problem did not appear. In Textra. I cleared data and cache and also deleted some lengthy conversations. I'm no longer having a problem sending and receiving MMS messages.

  14. Filter for blocking texts

    simply keeping the notification silent doesn't prevent the harassment. the texts are still there, there's just a stack of them now.

    I've gotten 10 political messages in the last 4 days, I need the ability to filter these by the phrases they use in every message.

    perhaps blocking the message isn't feasible for some reason, so perhaps we can auto-delete using key words, I know it ain't perfect, but I need some relief from this harassment.

    please Textra's dev team, or person, please. so many ppl want this feature.

  20. Just some thoughts about web and watch appsm

    I know I'm opening a huge can of worms here. there is a strong amount of support requesting a web version of textra. I've also seen numerous threads requesting that the app be extended to wear devices which makes a lot of sense. I also understand that if you did so, It could result in a long trip down a development black hole where you are doing a ton of work without any real financial gain for it. Today I found myself wishing for a web app. I decided I wanted to put an 8-in tablet on my dash so…
