  2. Single function Blocklist AND Delete

    Takes so many extra taps to do both.
    Must delete before leaving the blocklisted message or it stays and builds the database.
    Takes enough just to report it.

    I have my steps to handle that and manage spam numbers otherwise, BUT an option to Blocklist AND Delete at the same time would be easy to add and ideal for many.

    I'm told this exists already on other apps.

  4. Edit Sent Sound

    It would be great to have a way to change the "SENT" sound of a message - just like the received sound can be edited.

  5. Privacy/Private messages

    Private messages area where it's locked down with its own uniqe password so even if someone knows your phone password, they can't get to private messages area.
    Private messages have been asked for for years. I'm also writing this new one to bring attention to this again.
    I'm a paid member and avid user for years. Please Textra team. Help I'll even give you more money!!!!!!

  7. Option to remove text preview from main menu

    I suggest adding an option to remove the text preview under each contact in the main menu. This option would support a cleaner, more minimalistic interface and improve privacy.

  9. Group Colors, Backup/Restore Settings, Facebook Emojis

    1) Group colors - it would be cool if you add a way to group contacts by color. Family, friends, work, SMS, etc...one color for all contacts in that group.

    2) Are you guys reading these suggestions? I see a lot of people asking for a way to backup and restore settings...but are you working on it? It REALLY sucks when we have to reinstall this app and set up all the colors, styles, etc. It'd be nice if we could just restore our settings

    3) Add the Facebook emoji styles 👀

  11. website in a text message

    When there's a website address in a text message, it should to automatically open when clicked on. This used to happen but now it prompts me to choose what to do each and every time. This is annoying imo.

  17. Bitmoji & Music

    Add the App Bitmoji to Textra. Also be cool to send a song and it plays to whomever it is sent to. I remember back in the day when you were in a chatroom you would send a music wav file to get the other person's attention or to shutoff the other person's wav file lol. Anyways there must be a way to send a music file and it plays instantly. Of course there would be implantation added in for people who don't want music files to play automatically when sent. But I'm sure more people would love it and…

  19. Contacts Nickname search

    Alot of times when I start a text to my mom I start typing mom under contacts in Textra. My phone I can search that way in contacts as I have my mom listed with her name and (mom) is her nickname.
    So back to Textra I start a text with (Mom) and her contact only comes up if the mom is listed in the text body. So if be cool if Nicknames would show up in Textra search from my phone contacts

  20. Mark message as read for bubbles

    It's can be cool if you add a button to choice if I want to mark message as read if bubbles is closed... Because actually closing bubbles mark message as read but it's no I have thinked at...
