    Google messages now displays iPhone reactions properly as an emoji instead of a duplicate text. is Textra able to implement this same update?

    Text to speech does not work in messaging. I have restarted the app several times and nothing. I have restarted my phone twice and same results. It acts like it's going to start and then it closes out. This is all started happening after the update. I then tried to shake my phone to send you guys a error message and it wont-work. I hate this fucking app app. I then go search for support and there's a cadrillion ideas but nothing to contact you all.

    I think it's high time to add RCS feature like with Google's Messages. So, it can communicate with other android users that has RCS chat enabled, like with Samsung and Huawei that has RCS features with their SMS app.

    It's like iMessage of iPhone.

  9. make unread messages bold

    I find it is not too easy to distinguish between read and unread messages in the conversation list. The only thing indicating a messages unread is the small color bubble. It would help a lot if unread messages could be bolded. Thanks for considering!

    Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a way to bulk block texts that come from email addresses? There is an epidemic of spam texts that I'm getting from them. PLEASE.

  12. Group naming of text strings

    I may be missing it somewhere in settings, but other texting apps allow me to assign group names to groups of people I send to. I wish to have a group name "Family" for my wife, and two boys, but I'm not able to create that. Please either let me know what I am missing or add that feature please. Can't be too hard to do.

    Add the option to change th font size of the signature.

    Then don't copy the signature when one copies / past a message between threads.

  15. Block spam from email

    This isn't a new or radical idea, but I didn't see anything for it besides how to block a specific sender, or someone not in contacts, or for filtering by specific criteria, which doesn't help with bots creating random emails from random addresses to send from. Can the ability to block all text messages coming from email be added? An allow list down the line would be great, but just block all from anything ending in ".com" would be extremely beneficial for many people. Yes, it could be done via carrier, but if you're expecting someone to reach out that…

  16. Call Button in Conversation Thread

    Would it be possible to add the call button to the top of the conversation thread? This would save some taps in case you wanted to call a contact instead of message back.

  17. different organization of pinned texts

    I'd really like to see a different way of organizing pinned texts. A separate tab so you can still see the last message? Or just text bubbles at the top in a line and you can slide left and right when there's too many to fit?

  19. Save photos automatically

    Options to:
    1. Automatically save mms attachments (photos)
    2. Display all attachments with the option to save individually, selected, or All.
    3. As a message with an attachment is displayed, have a pop up with the option of saving it.
    The thought being to allow catching up with saving photos without having to search manually, followed by doing it automatically or semiautomatically as messages are received.
