Renaming a texting thread that contains multiple people to something other than a list of participants.

Set default color for new conversations and shortcodes
Hello, it would be great if we could set the default color for messages in:
- new conversations
- new conversations from unknown numbers (not in contacts)
- new conversations from shortcodes (usually automated notifications, 2fa, etc)
And also a function to set the color of all existing conversations of the above types.
For example: my wife is the only one who should have a pink conversation theme, but I am constantly getting new conversations showing up pink.

Access security
I'd like to see an extra layer of security, which could be optional for users. I would like a function whereby it is necessary to unlock the app in order to read messages. Just having the phone unlocked isn't sufficient.

I would love the option to make a blocked caller aware that they have been blocked. not so much calls, but texts. OHHHH how I would just love for that b#+c! to see that! hahahaha

Delete someone from chat
when a group message goes out and a single person now has changed their number so the person is requesting to get out of the group chat. I want to button to delete just that person from the group without setting a new group

delete active message
currently unable to delete a message currently looking at. need to go back to main feed and delete. also if it's a notification. I need to open the program select the msg, then delete. please make it a better user experience

Increase emoji keyboard size
We can change the size of our font but it would be super helpful if there was a way to increase the size of the emojis on the emoji keyboard. Sometimes they are hard to see if you are older or have impaired vision. Even if we could zoom in and out. I'm not sure if that's an improvement that the Textra app can make or if that would be an improvement that Gboard would have to make. BTW this is by far the best texting app. I love it and appreciate y'all always working to improve it.

Customize Txt Messages
when you customize a conversation, is it possible to add a feature where the name of the person can be added. this way when you look through the txt messages, it is easier to spot the conversation as opposed to always doing a search.

Text Forwarding
being able to forward all texts to a different phone. let's say your phone is broken there should be a way to have your texts forwarded to another phone or email while your phone is being fixed.

Mark a conversation as unread
This idea is similar to the Gmail app for example. You read a message and want to answer later, you mark it as unread so that the notification reminds you to come back

Unread text always on top
it would be great to have the conversations with unread messages always at the top of the list.
basically, it would do the same job than "to pin a conversation" but in an automatic way :
1. click the "unread button" = it pins the conversion
2. once the text is read, it unpin it.1 vote -

hello, i work in a school and i use textra to communicate with parents. I sometimes send 1 sms for 400 people. I would like not to have the alert message which indicates that a large number of messages are sent and I have to confirm each time and it is painful. is there a solution to this problem?

[Option] Mute Notifications from Unknown Numbers
I have been getting a lot of spam SMS messages. I already have an app to block unknown callers. Would love to have Texta stay silent when I receive a text from some spammer.
