  1. customize message customize text notifications

    When I get a text message I would like to hear a happy "ding!" unless it's from my ex. Then I want to hear a vomit sound or something similarly unpleasant. I would like to customize incoming text notifications to specific people like I can with ringtones. I'm on a pixel 7 pro.

  2. Arrange text messages by alphabetical order.

    I have a lit of text messages for work. it would be convenient if I could arrange the conversations in alphabetical order because who I spoke to last isn't helpful. I'd like to be able to scroll to the "S' names or what have you or put ! in from of names I don't need pinned but want at the too if the list.

  4. Edit, add/delete contact from group

    currently there is no way to delete or add contacts to groups. you end up starting all over with no ability to edit current group

  5. Display contact's phone number in conversation

    Would it be possible to add an option to have the contact's number persist below their name?

    I have some contacts who have two or more numbers and, while I realize that I can hit that little drop down arrow by the name to have it reveal the contact's number, it would be more convenient to just have it underneath the contact's name for quick reference.

  6. please let us send videos from gallery/photos

    would like to be able to send videos as I currently can't on textra. Without messing with the resolution, having to trim or compress please. No compressing incoming videos too please

  7. Clear Cache

    Would love a clear cache option. App is using 12GB and I do NOT have that many messages or pictures at all.

    I am getting a ton of spam texts from email addresses. Can we get a way to not just block numbers, but to block names/email addresses as well?

  12. Label for unreplied texts please

    so we get a label for unread texts in our inbox, can we please get a label for unreplied texts too?

    I sometimes read a message but forget to reply, thus having a label like the unread label would save me so much.

  13. pins for chats

    being able to PIN sent messages and come back to them later.

    simply being able to PIN a message and find that message in a wall of lost text. Countless times the mother of my child will send me messages for things that are important and I'll read them and as we text they get LOST in the void. Would be nice to have a feature to find them again that isn't search, that's where pins come in. If I pin a message, It'll take me back to that exact message in the chat history.

    Fajnie gdyby można było ustawić inny dźwięk SMS-ów. W moim telefonie na tej aplikacji dźwięk SMS-ów jest taki sam jak dźwięk innych powiadomień....

    When receiving emails usually the last message is on the top.

  18. Group phone number with and without country code

    Textra separates phone numbers into separate threads if one has the country code. So, if you travel, it separates out from your previous messages with the person which can be confusing and annoying. Please consider options to keep the threads together.

    A space bar or button would be really handy on emoji pages. Sometimes I want to put spaces between emojis and have to go back to the regular keyboard to do it.

  20. search in conversation

    can we have it so that we can search within a specific conversation for keywords instead of the search being open to all conversations. if I'm searching for "party" in a convo with a specific person, I don't need to go through 700 hits on the word in 45 other convos.
