  3. no replied messages sorting/label?

    So if one gets tons of messages, it's easy to forget to reply. How can one sort or auto label all messages I haven't replied to yet? If anyone knows how or another app that does this please share

  5. Let some us old timers help.

    maybe I'm the only one, maybe not. But often when I log in and come to the ideas I see a lot of requests for things that either are already there and maybe they don't know it or they're impossible to do. These types of messages seem to fill up a remainder quite a while which isn't good for you and isn't good for the customer.   6. Allow sorting of blocklisted numbers

    SPAM is one of the top 3 challenges for mobile phones users... SMS spam is the toughest to address as spammers use unending different numbers to ghost their own real number.

    Textra has done a few cursory improvements to help customers with spam. I am grateful yet it doesn't scratch the surface of the need.

    First: Give users robust control over reviewing the blocked list using filters. This is not a convenience request; it is necessary to manage the neverending hundreds upon hundreds of blocklisted numbers users aquire.

    Accidentally blockisting a righteous contact is a total nightmare to correct.

  7. Transfer settings between phones

    Please add the option to save your settings file (even externally) so that when moving to a new phone you can import those settings. Not just the settings, but importantly the Blocklist! I have hundred or so numbers on my old phones block list. Now that I'm on the new phone they're all gone and no longer on the list.

  9. Reply to a specific bubble in a conversation

    is it possible to have a reply feature in a specific bubble? so I may send replies to certain bubbles in a conversation. this is a great feature!

  10. preventing unintentional keystrokes from creating drafts

    One unintentional keystroke (for example, on spacebar), and the app registers it as a "draft". I spend a lot of time deleting these "drafts". Easy solution would be to set Textra to only save draft when more than x keystrokes.

  11. Delete duplicate messages

    Can you make a setting to delete duplicates of text messages? I just transferred my s20+ to my new s23+ and all of my messages duplicated to where they show 2 of each. Verizon doesn't have a way to delete these and I'd like to avoid wiping the phone

  12. dark bubble colors

    I am visually impaired and find white text on a very dark background is much easier to read. if we could have a very dark blue bubble option or a black bubble option with white text that would be great!

  13. Add or Remove Recipient From Conversation

    The title says it all! When you select the drop down arrow to view the conversation list. You should be able to click the three dots and have an option to delete a recipient from the conversation or add a recipient to a conversation.

  14. date format

    It would be great if it were possible to set the date format of received/sent messages any way you like (for example YYYY/MM/DD). Now in the English version of app the date is displayed in US standard.
    Second issue is displaying the full date even in the latest news instead of in example yesterday or week name

  15. Option to Lock a Thred

    can you PLEASE make an option to LOCK a thred from a Contact so the ENTIRE thred doesn't get deleted by accident. Getting so much Spam it's Too easy to swipe away a bunch of spam texts then swipe away an entire thred from friend or family by accident

  16. Backup Messages

    currently I use another app to save a backup copy of my messages. it would be cool if Textra offered the same service. a way to backup messages and you can put them on Google drive or an external device that way you can always restore them should something happen to your phone. if this was offered as a paid service after a certain amount of text messages where you could pay an extra two bucks if you have over 50,000 messages or something I would purchase it.

    I know an MMS group chat can't be technically named, but could a feature be added where we can at least give a nickname to each group chat? It can be confusing trying to figure out which exact group chat I'm looking for without names

  18. keep emojis non binary cos more people are nonbinary

    in a strict sense, very few are hyper femme or hyper masc cis people. emojis are just reactions. I can wear my gender with a choice of which shirt.
