Blocklist number series
Add a series number function like caller apps. Allow starting with, containing, and exact match. That would help block area codes or numbers phishing with neighboring numbers.

Save/export settings
It is extremely difficult to get Textra set up exactly the way I like it, if I change phones or do a phone reset. There should a way to save the settings as an export file that can then be re-imported to restore all settings the way I want them to be. Thank you!

Set do not disturb period
It will be great to have the ability to silence notifications for a given number for a given number of hours. This is especially helpful when on pager duty and one needs the notification on all the time except for x number of hours in 24 hours

TEXT EDITING
In the editing section don't necessarily need the cut copy paste selection, we can achieve that with a long press in the desired area or over the word(s), BUT what WE NEED is BOLD UNDERLINE ITALICIZE CIRCLE and a button for add new fonts called FONT CHANGE

Enable keyboard support
The send key does not have an onClickListener added to it. So when I click the send button using the space bar on my keyboard, nothing happens. All you need to do is move the onTouch block of code into an onClickListener. Then in the onTouch you simply call rhsButton.performClick()

On iphones you cans send a message using an affect like, the slam affect. Don't you think android phones should be able to do that too?

Mark messages as Unread and Create Folders
it would be great if I could Mark messages as unread after viewing them, and also sort by unread messages. I realize that you can pin conversations but that can quickly take up the entire screen. How about being able to create folders for sorting messages?

Scroll-Select Multiple Messages + Select Messages on Calendar Date(s)
I am not seeing any mentions of this idea yet, and I think it belongs on Textra. Its always so nice when apps allow you to Scroll-Select of whatever items are within (photos, emails, notes, etc.). There's an API that allows for long press an item and drag up/down/sideways to select the adjacent items. In other words, you continue holding down and selecting additional messages.
You can typically do this in your default Samsung apps including your Email, Gallery, Notes, and in plenty of 3rd party apps as well.
Should be a simple add-on feature, and very useful. Hate having…

2 Visual changes to conversations overview
It would be awesome if we could add a coloured bar or dot somewhere in line with a conversation rectangle (what appears in the list of all convos when opening the app), which matches whatever you set their accent colour too - especially useful if you have a contact picture which obscures that colour already.
It may be nice to have the ability to change how all these conversations display or are listed together, like bubbles or a grid size of one's choosing, instead of just a vertical list sort of view.

Do Not Include Signature
There are times I don't want a signature included, such as when replying to STOP messages which can't be read if there is a signature included. Perhaps a toggle button in text composition windows that allows the elimination of signatures on a one-time basis?

Bold text for unread
It would be really nice and easy to handle if the unread messages in the inbox would go bold; and would get un-bolded after being read.

Be able to see when someone is typing
I think that it would be super amazing to be able to see when someone is typing. it makes it easier to detect if someone read your message.

Start view at first unread message when opening a conversation
Opening a conversation always brings you to the bottom of the conversation at the newest message. In conversations with a lot of new messages, I have to scroll back up, find the last message that I read, and then work my way back down. It would be nice if the default view when opening a conversation started you where you last left off. Similar to WhatsApp.
