  4. Web Preview as Rich Embedded

    As of right now, web previews for links show up below the link and it looks messy if it is a long link. Would it be possible to either auto-shorten the link or have it be hidden and just hyperlink the web preview sort of how it's done on discord? Not sure if this is possible with SMS but would be great to see some sort of cleaner solution for longer links.

  5. Open message in text editor inside Textra.

    Sometimes I need to copy a specific text, number or code from a SMS. Currently I can only copy the whole text. I then have to paste that in a text editor to copy what I need. I think it could be handy to do that directly inside Textra.

  6. Add support for Android emoji reactions

    I've seen posts in relation to iPhone reactions, however, Android now has text message reactions as well. It would be nice if they actually showed up on the message (and if you were able to do them yourself), rather than just sending a message saying '[emoji] to [message]'.

  10. Auto respond

    PLEASE add auto respond. Not stored responses, not one touch replies, full auto respond. Store a message, and any text coming in gets that message back immediately. I'm a paid user, and I'd pay more for that feature.

  11. allow option to separate messages from contacts and new numbers

    This could act sort of as a spam filter for all the spam messages I've been getting. disabled by default this would disable sound notification for unknown numbers and put them in a separate folder or tab. that way if I'm expecting a message I know I can check there otherwise I can just ignore it

  13. Not receiving notifications for new texts.

    Currently I receive a text and I see the icon in the status bar, but it clears itself after a few minutes. Then when I open the app later I notice I have a bunch of missed texts. This is happening on my girlfriends phone too so I know it's the app.

    Additionally dual sim is messed up because it keeps switching sims and I'm texting people from random numbers which is really confusing for them.

    if you select the group to text to, it pulls in all phone numbers apparently past and present including non-primary mobile numbers and non mobile numbers

  16. Custom themes for light and night mode

    be able to choose color schemes to assign to each light and night mode. I enjoy the automatic switch between light and night mode, but I would prefer greater control over the colors bc my bubble colors fit dark mode better than light mode.

  17. copying multiple messages preserve conversation metadata

    when you select multiple messages to copy in a thread, the result of what you copy is just a huge block of text. In othee chat apps, copying multiple will preserve who and when and clearly separate the messages. I like to copy messages for my journal and is a pain to have to go back and add the person and split into messages. This should be be pretty simple fix, just append the parties name, the message time, a newline and then 2 newlines at the end of each message. Thanks!

  18. option to always go back to app

    i dont really like how texts pop up over whatever it is youre doing in other apps, there should be an option to toggle it on/off where you can always go into the app if you choose to.

    Add option to block/mute etc. All "named" sender ID messegers. Usually spam.
