  1. Auto-blocklisting

    Basically just auto block any number that isn't in your contacts that tries to message you. It would work wonders for people with numbers who are plagued by scammers. Perhaps the app can silently notify you first about a new message from an unknown number, and then let you decide to blocklist it or not later.

  2. Enter button

    In the messaging screen the Enter button is missing. The normal Enter button is changed to duplicate Send button, very confusing, also message is accidentally sent, very dangerous.

    Recommend keeping the Enter button and removing it's change to duplicate Send button. Thank you.

  3. Allow for customized vibration patterns!

    This should be a very simple request, and used to be included. If it doesn't change soon I'm leaving the app, unless someone can tell me how to fix it within Android.

  5. "Like" Butter/selection

    many of my friends have a "like" feature on your messaging app. I wish texture would have the same. I am always doing a 👍 which takes more time.

  6. Reply to a specific message

    Hi! I think it would be so nice to swipe right or left to reply to a specific message in sms and mms. And if the person we are replying to is not using textra, they would receive a message saying "Replied to: the message we replied to" if you get what I mean.

  7. Cannot tackup a contact's messages

    In Textra I can see all the messages for one of my contacts, but I cannot backup any of the messages. In fact, the contact's name does not show up in any backup's list. If I use the Samsung message processor I can't see that contact. When I go back to the Textra processor I can see all of them. I'm new at this stuff and I need help to get this contact's messages available to other apps. Can anyone help me? Regards Wally

    Please MOVE the word BLOCKLIST to another position because I often accidentally touch itand block people that I don't intend to.

  10. blacklist backup

    sometimes, installing new update of Textra, requires uninstalling previous version. in these cases, all blacklisted numbers will delete and user should start putting unwanted numbers in blocklist from first. any why to backup blacklist?

    i wana have a suggestion that, the sms delivery option for each sim (i mean separate for each sim) will be better,,,
    because ,,for sending sms on some networks the delivery option should be off

  13. iOS reactions should be a separate notification category

    If the Ios emoji reaction was a separate notification category I would be a much happier camper. I greatly appreciate not having "so and so reacted to [full text message] show up in my conversations, but I would strongly prefer the option to just not be notified of iphone people doing iphone stuff.

  14. Create draft message with no recipients

    I would like to compose a message without specifying a recipient so that I am sure that I don't send it until I am sure I've got it right. I might save it and look at it a day later before finally sending.

    I love that I can schedule a text to go out at a later time but would love to be able to have the text repeat either daily or weekly.

    when tap a message, is showen menu
    please make in settings option that user can sort content in this menu and eliminate text of items (only shapes is showen)

  18. custom options

    i have been with Textra for a ton of years now!
    so i am really ready to spice things up a bit like some of the other apps are doing and i really need some cool effects.

    i would really love to see more custom options. more icons, add pics or patterns for the backgrounds or themes, more conversation bubble options, font packages, more text color options, more stickers and emojis. thanks for considering any of these

  19. Dual sim idea

    I have a dual sim phone and it's awesome that textra supports it. However the button to switch sums is too close to the send button. I have on several occasions accidently sent a text on the wrong sim because I tapped the sim switch as well. Anyway it can be moved to the left side, away from the send button?

  20. Editing option

    I accidentally just sent this to the help section instead of the idea section. I would really like to see the editing option that the gboard has. You can select edit from the toolbar above the keyboard and it immediately switches to arrow keys and select so you can precisely edit longer messages. It's the only feature I prefer on the gboard to on here.
