  1. sort messages by read or unread

    I am about to leave Textra because I lose messages that are unread but pushed way down the list. Every other messaging app has the feature to keep unread at the top.

  2. ability to switch off text filtering.

    For most people using this app we all know that certain words represented in certain ways such as s*** and f*** or "duck" are due to text filtering and dictionary. it would be nice to be able to switch this off so that actual speech recorded or manually input is left unfettered and unchanged. thank you

    Would be nice to be able to copy part of a text message, rather than having to copy an entire message.

  4. Replacing sender number with title or name of association for group messaging

    I will love to see a new feature added to Tetra whereby a sender is able to replace his number with a title (name of association). This will be very useful for group messaging!

  5. tabs for dual sim

    I would love to see texts from each line separated jnto different tabs. Would really help me separate personal texts from work texts.

  6. Smart Watch Integration

    Hello I love your app and just got a Samsung smart watch. I was looking into the possibility of being able to integrate Textra into the watch to receive messages. I believe you would have to have a watch app as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Please put a way of leaving a group message. I've been getting these spam messages. BLOCKLISTING doesn't work for this at all. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!

    If a contact have multiple phone numbers, display which one sent the message ("Mobile", "Pro", ...).

  10. Edit text messages

    Edit text after it has been sent. having this feature will help if you misspelled a word or left out a word/phrases - you can go back and edit the message and continue without having to send additional text messages.

  11. unarchive messages

    my granddaughter accidentally archived a very important text thread. I didn't notice until it was too late. perhaps a "are you sure you want to archive this message or thread" may have prevented this. I'm frantically trying to find a way to recover them.

  12. Forward

    Why is there no option to automatically forward every "sms/mms" to other devices ?

    I think that this would be easy to build in and could be really useful for many different things...

    Would like a replay on this one to see what happens, i am a pro user....

  16. Phone Drive Space

    As I was doing a diagnosis on my phone storage space, I noticed that this app was taking up close to 9GB of space. I determined it's all the images sent to and from me.

    Suggestion would be to allow a type of "clean up" of specific images. In other words, a type of image library that shows everything (ie images, giphys, etc..) and the user could then chose which to erased and free up space.

  17. Activating a message later

    I have not found a chance to mark a read message unread or to re-send it at a set time in the future. Sometimes a message should be remembered at a later moment. Any chance for these features?

    every time I stop in here I see multiple requests for features that are already there. often they have 10 to 20 thumbs up on them where other people want the same features that are already there.. today there were two requests for custom vibration. I just wanted to re

  19. Filter SMS by regex

    A lot of spam messages say similar things, but are from new numbers. If we could block messages based on keywords and regular expressions, we could eliminate almost all spam.
    E.g. Blocking text messages that mention your first name and "republican" or "Democrat" and "donate", or blocking messages asking for your SSN or saying to click this link to claim your prize.
