Search and delete
Once we search any word and results are opened. There should be an option to "select all" and delete.
By this if a word has been search and there are 100+ msgs.. So that it can be deleted within seconds.2 votes -
Nudges / Message Snooze
A reminder to reply to a messages. Basically postponing an incoming message do you can reply at a later time with a custom time duration. Almost like a snooze button, but for messages.

Return to message list after deleting all messages from within a conversation
sometimes I get a text and open and read it. I then want to delete that message which then clears the conversation completely (no messages). I then have to manually back out of that empty conversation to get back to the message list. if you delete the last/only message in a conversation from within the conversation Textra should automatically return you to the message list.

More notification options
Can more notification options be added like your sister App Chomp SMS which has more options? Like a divider line between conversations or more vibration option instead of just being stuck with having a very short vibration when messages are received.

size of new message indication in conversation
the size of the new message indicator in the conversation list is very small and hard to see since it's on top of different contact pictures. would like a way to change the size of that indicator and/or otherwise customize it so it's easier to see at a glance. changing the color is a nice option but doesn't do it for me.

No text notifications while driving
Connect to vehicle by Bluetooth so when driving you have no notifications & it sends message out that "I'm driving right now get back to you later."

please add schedule messages where i can set my message time to be send....even if im not holding or using my phone it can sent a message..so that i cant missed to message someone even if im busy

Export / Import Textra SETTINGS
Have an option - either local or to the cloud (Onedrive, etc) or in an email - to backup and restore settings and personal preferences. Helpful if you need to wipe your phone or move to another phone.

Wildcard blocking
I get a lot of spam beginning with "ATT message". The is another app called "Pulse SMS" which has wildcard functionality, but a clunky interface. Why can't textra block by wildcard. As another user stated, "If my number were 4025012222, it'd be nice to be able to block "402501*" and instantly put a stop to all the spoofed messages."

A Good Thought
Quite awhile ago there was a texting app that had multiple designs plus extras to let you set up your personal backgrounds, like having a personal stationary. Also add sounds to the message. I chose the antique typewriter key sounds for messaging. I really enjoyed personally adding a personal touch .

Time stamp on received messages
My incoming messages don't have a time stamp of when they were received. Is there a setting for that?

notifications on screen when opening the phone
have the message notification on the home screen or better on a locked screen so you don't have to check the phone's notification panel every time you open it! to be absolutely sure not to miss anything!

It would be really handy to have call logs show up in the chat so you can see what time you called someone without having to switch apps
