    the samsung default text app has work/friends and Fam/ and the ability to add custom. maybe a chat bot feature for people who want it.

    I recently purchased a Chromebook which connects to an Android phone VIA Bluetooth. This permits "Messages by Web.” This feature allows the user to send and receive regular SMS messages using only their Chromebook. After creating a message and selecting “Send,” that data is transmitted to the Android phone through Bluetooth. The phone then transmits the message to the recipient through normal channels.     I'd like to see a thinnish line right below the pinned conversations in my list, to differentiate between pinned and non-pinned conversations. Either thin grey line, or the same color as the accent color

  5. Suggestions to Textra

    Hello, great app. But there are still 2 issues to improve. I write this email because I really like and want to use this app, I also bought premium. But these issues were not solved yet.

    1. when I start to write sms I should choose from the drop-down list to choose from which SIM card (dual sim) message will be sent. And be able to switch to another when needed - BUT only with drop down list - so that to avoid such situations that after I write message, by accident I change card from which I send this message.

  6. Single button to silence all notifications, both sound and vibration

    As an emergency physician, I sometimes need to take a nap while I'm on backup call. I need to be able to receive phone calls, but I don't want the phone next to me to wake me up with Textra notifications, either sound or vibration. When I set the notification tone to "None" and Vibrate Pattern to "None" it still vibrates with every notification.

  7. BASIC PHOTO EDITOR

    With so many screenshots being shared, it's nice to be able to crop out superfluous information.

    I would LOVE a basic crop-tool when I go to send a pic; just a little pencil, top right, where I can crop a pic - extra points if it has a colour filter, and a censor bar!

    Add an option to warn you this is a Group Chat so you don't accidentally reply to the first (and only visible) person in the chat something embarrassing because of others in the Group.

  12. Set granular attachment retention by chat group

    I would like to recommend an option to be able to delete or expire picture attachments in specific chat groups.

    For example, I have a chat group that is filled mostly with memes. I would like to keep the chat messages permanently but delete or expire the picture attachments after X amount of time.

    However, in other chat groups, I would like to keep pictures / chats based upon Textra's global message retention settings.

    The advantage of setting granular attachment retention rules by chat group, I believe would save significant local memory space.

    It would be nice to have a drop-down where you could have a list of pre-written replies. During my work day most of my replies are one of several different replies but always the same, it would be nice to not have to retype the same message all the time.
