I'm confused. Who wrote this? Am I reading a Textra page or Google page?
More and more I see Google Android taking over settings that Apps once had. This gave a reason to use an app other than Google's. In addition, I see the comments offered in a search returned page to be unsigned, so you don't know the date or author of the advice. This lack of responsibility for answers to A Google search just shows the inability for anyone to own a statement only proves that Google is just not as transparent as they should be and opens up a question as to the accuracy of the statement. Currently you swipe right to delete, and left to call. Would love to be able to change it to different options like pin and silencing

Please block mass texts from emails
I keep getting spam group texts from email addresses and having to constantly blocklist, I'd like to just block them entirely please.

auto reply
is there any plan to add auto reply when driving? with the laws this would be a nice addition, other texting apps have this feature built in and it makes it nice. is there any plan on adding this option?

Send later: use a timer
Instead of having to define the precise time when sending later, an additional option to send later with a timer would be nice. See: I want to send in 5min, let's set a timer to 5min and go, instead of having to calculate what time it will be in 5min and the time I calculate and set the clock widget to it, it's already 1 minute lost. Maybe easier and might also better fit people's need, which might not be to schedule a sending bitt to delay it.

Disable slide to call/slide to delete message thread
Have a toggle option for enable/disable the feature where you slide someone's name to call or delete.
my phone remains unlocked in pocket sometimes and has deleted threads and posts kept dialed.
furthermore, the feature is simply annoying as requires more precision when sliding to prevent unintended effects.
this is literally the one feature that has kept me from buying pro

Android 11 - Notification Settings General
Textra general notification settings.
In Textra Settings > Customize Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.
Per contact notification settings.
Long hold on any contact in the conversation list screen > dotdotdot (top right) > Customize > Notifications > Press on the word Android Settings > (Advanced) Sound > Ringtone.

text notifications
I would love to see an update where I can see the picture selected contact from the lock screen but hide their name and content of their message. I use to have this feature on one my LG phones and I loved it 💗. I can still use the option for the color on Textra but since the last update it looks cluttered and that clean design from before is gone :(

Categorize Text Messages/Custom Text Tones
On my default texting app, I have the ability to categorize my messages such as Work, Family, Etc. I also had the ability to set a specific ringtone for the contacts in that group as well. It helped me because I could identify which group had texted me. Helpful if its just a text from a friend vs Work so I can hear the urgency whether I need to jump to my phone or just let it ring.
