text notifications
I would love to see an update where I can see the picture selected contact from the lock screen but hide their name and content of their message. I use to have this feature on one my LG phones and I loved it 💗. I can still use the option for the color on Textra but since the last update it looks cluttered and that clean design from before is gone :(

Categorize Text Messages/Custom Text Tones
On my default texting app, I have the ability to categorize my messages such as Work, Family, Etc. I also had the ability to set a specific ringtone for the contacts in that group as well. It helped me because I could identify which group had texted me. Helpful if its just a text from a friend vs Work so I can hear the urgency whether I need to jump to my phone or just let it ring.

vision impaired
it would be helpful to be able to click on a text to have it read out loud, like when you're in the Sun and you don't have your glasses. as well as an option to zoom in on a text to make the font bigger temporarily.

Change background image and color
I know an very hold idea about this have already been declined in 2013 or 2012 I don't rember. It was declined by performance issue, so now it's 2021 the technology have grown and so I think now you can make this feature without big performance issue, of course the background conversion image and color can be by conversation and no one image for all conversations.

Textra does not actualize group information
It looks like that textra did not update the contacts information for groups/labels. I've contacts stored in nextcloud and sync it to android with DAVx5. The contact in the adressbook of android has the correct group information, but this is not visible in Textra.

auto delete by time
it is great that we can set max items and auto delete based on that but it would be nice to set a time as well. For example, if a message reaches 6 months it deletes automatically. Thank you for the great work!

Seasonal Notification Icons
Can you offer seasonal notification icons in the future? Some examples would be a Jack O'Lantern or witch for Halloween, a turkey for Thanksgiving, a snowman or Santa for Christmas, Fireworks for New Years, a Clover for St. Patrick's Day.

Send delay option for Individual contacts
The ability to have a "send delay" option, just for a specific contact (instead of its current global on/off).
Use case: Being able to undo that remorseful text for selective contacts 😉

Option for quicker delete
Currently to delete single messages require three actions. Swipe, tap trash can one, tap trash can again. Whilst some people may like this level of tipple could bfirmatiob, for many it's a nuisance.
I suggest making the delete actions optional. Such as, 1. Swipe message right, and it deletes, 2l swipe right and tap trashcan once, 3) or the current method, of swipe right, then tap trashcan twice.Personally, I want to just swipe and it's deleted. It would be so much quicker and perfectly fine.
