  3. All in one app

    Manage messages, phone, and contacts all in one app. Textra has been my go to app for a while now and I have supported it for years, I would love to have an all in one all to replace 2 other home icons with just this app!

  6. Compact Mode

    I would like to see the main screen more compact. I find everything is too far apart, vertically. I would also like the option to remove the circle with letter next to every contact. Just text is fine.

    when multiple text come in, on the icon, have the number of unread text appear similar to iPhone. the only thing missing from the app.

  8. send delay option

    dont care what the reason could be... mine is usually just late night thoughts that can wait till morning for a response but, it would be neat if I could type up a text message and have the app hold/delay it being sent until with a specific date/time.

    like right now, my wife is sleeping and will be awake in the morning before me. I want to text her a reminder about something to do in the morning but i dont want her phone to ring now and wake her.... but Ill be asleep and would prefer her to get…

  9. Preview pic or gif

    Can you add in a way to view a full-sized pic or gif before sending? when you attach a pic, you are only able to see the thumbnail of that pic until it is sent, and then you can expand the pic - you are not able to tap or long-press on the photo to see a full-screwn version before sending. it would be nice to be able to review the pic in app before sending.

  11. Visually Organized/Seperated Text Messages

    On the home screen of textra have pinned text messages in their own area and 1 inch down the screen having all other messages in their own area on the phone screen, making everything looking neat and more clear.

    I work with clients frequently and use my personal phone to text and coordinate with them. I would love to be able to sort through my texts based on the group they are in, the same way gmail sorts mail by personal & professional.

  20. Reinstate "unread message" notification icons after phone restart or app upgrade

    If I have unread messages that I haven't seen and Textra gets upgraded to a new version or my phone restarts, the notifications for those messages go away and do not come back. I often miss messages for hours to days because I don't go into Textra to look to look for messages unless there are notifications that I have some unread. There are other apps (Google voice is a good example) that reinstate their "unread messages" notifications after a phone restart. I would like to see Textra do this as well.
