easier access to frequest contac
I have a big phone and it would really be nice to have the option to keep your most frequent texting contacts on the bottom of the screen so you do not have to reach up to the top of the screen each time to select the person you want to text when using you phone with one hand .

Ability to see main page messages as an incoming or outgoing
I'd like to be able to see who in the conversation has sent the last message. When I'm looking at the main screen, I can't tell if I'm the last one who replied or vice versa. It's helpful to know which messages I've read but haven't yet replied to.

Blocking
Please make it possible to block people. Blacklisting is not blocking. Even when a thread is blacklisted, someone can still be in group texts.

disable mute
need the option to disable mute for all incoming messages! I get messages and never know it because they are muted by default!

user control of swipe command
right now swipes only allow call and trash (and to delete, need to swipe, tap, and tap again)
I'd love for the type of swipe controls the Spark email app has (you have short and long swipes to the right and left, you can customize all of those settings, and it automatically does it when you swipe (no need to swipe and then click)

Bubble outlines
Please consider adding a bubble outline feature in lieu of bubble fill. I like lighter blues and greens with black text and can't get suitable colors. Bubble outlines with white or light gray backgrounds would allow black text to work with any color outline.

forwarding messages
when you forward a message it should state to the sender that this is a forward message, without me having to go in there and type that phrase..if I don't go in there and type it (which. sometimes I don't think about it) the message comes across like I was the author! a then I have to go through the whole spiel of explaining to my person that was a message that i had received/forwarded then I forwarded it to you, or whatever the case is, but it doesn't state it automatically

Copy one word out of received message
Why can't I copy one word, sentence or code out of a received message?
The only option is copy the whole message into something else then extract the code, number or words I want or flick between this and another app typing the code as I go. Really frustrating and I've been using this text app for years1 vote -

If you had a app to swap to ios or android, combine files from both into one updated. and store a backup then you will rule the smsand contacts world.

Blinking screen
Since many phones no longer have a blue led blinking light to show you have a message would it be possible to make the screen flash on and off or even the camera flash continually until you open the message?

Increase time to 30 seconds from the current nine seconds.

mark as unread and/or snooze
can you please add an option to mark messages as unread from the conversation screen? or add a way to snooze a message to re-alert me after a set amount of time (or at a specific time).
Some kind of functionality to help when there's a message that I don't have time to fully read or that I need to return to or that I need to remember to act on later. even if that just means highlighting it as an unread message8 votes
