    If you had a app to swap to ios or android, combine files from both into one updated. and store a backup then you will rule the smsand contacts world.

  2. Blinking screen

    Since many phones no longer have a blue led blinking light to show you have a message would it be possible to make the screen flash on and off or even the camera flash continually until you open the message?

  4. mark as unread and/or snooze

    can you please add an option to mark messages as unread from the conversation screen? or add a way to snooze a message to re-alert me after a set amount of time (or at a specific time).
    Some kind of functionality to help when there's a message that I don't have time to fully read or that I need to return to or that I need to remember to act on later. even if that just means highlighting it as an unread message

  5. Old messages Pick Up from Default Sms app

    i have seen that texta is not able synchronize all messages when I switch my phone. i have saved all my messages . got on new mobile in default app (shifted through Samsung cloud) .now, only default mobile app is showing previous messages but texta s showing only a few ones. I love to use texta but its sad to see this limitation. please add an option to pick the old messages from default sms app (in case of mobile switching). Thank you.

  6. Emoji lists: all or favorites only

    I would like to see and use a list of my favorite (a minor subset of all) emojis only which does not mean the recent ones.
    List of recent ones may contain some that used once. So a switch between recent and favorites would be welome.

  7. block extensions from email providers

    feature to block extensions from email addresses or all email addresses. example "@hotmail.com" ; "@mms.cricketwireless.net" these are where most of the spam texts come from.

  10. Making it easier to get OTPs

    Hi,
    I think it would be great if when receiving OTPs instead of showing the message in the notification, show the numbers big and clear, and also an option to copy them. Truecaller does this, its a great feature but i am loyal to textra :)
    Would love to see it here cos its really annoying to come back to msgs to get the otp. Even iPhone let's you copy it

  11. Swipe to delete message

    It's bad enough you have to swipe to delete but then you have to click delete twice. Just let us swipe to the side to delete it. I don't want to have to push a button twice after that. All the other apps do this. At least put it as an option so we can choose.

    chomp sms is the' sister's app for textra. it appears as if chomp may be the first version of the two while textra was developed to improve style and feel. textra has less options (edit , customize, colors ,etc.) but operates smoother with a trendy simplistic feel yet highly customizable compared to the average stock messaging app.

    long story short textra looks better, feels better and may in fact just be BETTER than chomp. I've spent considerable time with both platforms as my default application for messaging. textra seems to get more updates while chomp already allows the user to…

  20. sms delivery notification tone or jingle

    upon delivery of sms i.e. upon message getting received by the receiver, there should be a feature which will play a delivery tone or jingle. Samsung default sms app has this feature. it is very useful
