Could you add a settings for a seperator between the items on the initial screen where we see the list of conv we have.

Light and night mode affecting message colors
Light and night mode is great but I think that it should work with the text bubbles as well. It would work best if there was a separate theme for night mode so for instance my light gray messages would become dark gray to match the theme. This would make the design look cleaner and unified.

Underline, bold, and italics
I would like to put some more emphasis on words in my text by adding underline, bold, and italics options to my messages.

Wide message display
It displays the message in a narrow strip so the reader have to scroll down a long which is disturbing. I request you to make its sms display screen wide so the user would not have to scroll down long enough.

Read receipts
Messages shows when someone on the same carrier sees a message sent to them, the sender can look at the message and see that the person they sent it to has seen it. This applies to both SMS and MMS messages.

Easy delete of prior GIF selection
For use of GIFs in Textra, could you please add an easy way to remove the static last choice we made? Adding an "x" at the far right of the line would be great. Right now the way it works is that the last one is persistent and I have to manually delete it. Thanks.

Recycle Bin
Is there a way to send deleted messages to a recycle bin?
Thereby being able to retrieve messages later if needed.
Maybe an additional feature could be that those messages could drop off or auto delete after 30 days.
Or the user could simply manually delete all contents in the recycle bin.Thank you,

Sorting Names for Groups
It would be really helpful to be able to sort contacts alphabetically by last name within a group. Right now it's sorted FIFO which is no help at all when you've got a really large group and you want to select individuals from that group.

Icon "Call Contact" for direct call
Hi everybody, the 1st missing function I noticed on your fabulous app was a Call button on the top of every conversation to call directly the contact, instead of 2 clicks (context menu, then Call). Thank you

Sort media by size so that the user may quickly delete larger files over time to reduce space on their phone.

Old messages Pick Up from Default Sms app
i have seen that texta is not able synchronize all messages when I switch my phone. i have saved all my messages . got on new mobile in default app (shifted through Samsung cloud) .now, only default mobile app is showing previous messages but texta s showing only a few ones. I love to use texta but its sad to see this limitation. please add an option to pick the old messages from default sms app (in case of mobile switching). Thank you.
