  1. sim card colour

    on phones that hold 2 sim cards the sim symbol could do with being a different colour for each sim to make it easier to see what sim you are using

  2. Option for making app icon color match theme color

    just add a simple toggle in the app icon color picker to make it automatically match the color that the system theme is. I'm sure 99% who change the theme color choose the same for the app icon also; so it would greatly help with that

  3. "temporary MMS problem"

    I've tried all the so-called "best" SMS/MMS apps out there and IMHO Textra has the least annoyances and most reasons to keep on using it. However, since using Textra I regularly receive the message "Your carrier has a temporary MMS problem...." Could you please give some explanation and a fix for this issue?

  7. delete single press

    either allow right swipe to immediately delete or only require one press of the trashcan to delete, 2 is quite excessive and unnecessary since that already has 2 actions to delete

  8. Font sizing.

    If I get a text when I'm in bed, without my glasses, I can't read it because the font is too small. if i could use a screen pinch or the volume buttons to increase the size it would help a lot.

  10. Adding a private box option.

    Great to have a private box and specific controls for it. Like options for messages received from locked box. When and how they appear and to turn off the notification for the private box messages

  11. More font colors!

    Currently on Dark Mode, there are only four color options for font color:
    White, Grey, Light Grey, and Whiter white.

    The problem is obvious... We basically can only make our fonts white, which is impossible to read if your bubble color is even slightly light, which they most likely are if you're using dark mode.

    It makes no sense to match the font color to the bubble color, match it to the background atleast... I can't believe there are only white and grey as options....

    I'd like to see the full date and time for every message all the time, instead of having to slide left to only see the time.

    Since most versions of iOS aren't receiving WebP file types, there should be a MMS setting to choose sending as PNG or WebP.

  16. theme fix

    fix the "head bar" color make it like the theme color if white head bar will be white , dark head bar will be dark and so on , or make the head bar "blur" like the ios text app , and yes remove the history that drop from the head bar it's usefull but it's very ugly , and make the back of chat and "babules shape" more cleaning , plz think about my feedback , keep working .

    More visible dual SIM support - more then just icon color. Setting for confirming new sms on specific SIM before sending.
