  2. Lock Screen Notification Options

    I'd love options to limit lock screen notification content and contact visibility on the lock screen only, as opposed to in all notifications, at both a global and conversation level.

  3. Light/ Black Mode

    An automatic night and day mode but for the black background instead of the dark one. I prefer the black as it helps with my AMOLED display and I like it more overall than the gray background. Hope it gets added soon :) I got this app a few months ago and immediately bought the PRO version. I have faith in these devs to deliver quality.

  4. Dark Mode follows system theme

    Make it so that when you toggle on Dark Mode in the system settings on Android 10 devices it triggers it in for Textra as well.

  6. Blacklist and backup

    1. Please add a feature to backup settings, messages and blacklisted numbers. If we change the phone, we have to go through the pain of adding the numbers in blacklist again, one by one. But if we have a backup list of blacklisted contacts, it would be much easier.

    2. Please add a separate link to view all the blacklisted messages in one go, so we can see or delete them if required.

  7. Disable Contact Photos

    pretty straight forward, I prefer a minimal aesthetic. it would be nice to have the option to disable contact photos so that it only displays the name of the person I'm texting

  9. Unnecessary spacing on right side of sent bubbles.

    For 'sent' text bubbles from you, when message length exceeds one line, there's unnecessary blank space on the right side of the bubble. The bubble should be flush against the last letter of the longest line of that particular text, without unnecessary blank spaces creating excessive indentation.

  14. Customization

    I'd love to be able to change the background of each message with my own pictures from the gallery. Or, if you guys incorporate wallpaper options as well. Also, having different text color options outside of the standard one would be a plus also.

  17. RGB sliders/hex code support for themes

    Add support for custom colors for text bubbles, accent colors, and contact colors. It would be nice to have RGB sliders or the ability to type a hex in and have a wider variety of colors to choose from for a really custom experience.

    A while back colored notifications were changed to shaped notifications because Google said so. I noticed today after upgrading to Android pie that my GameStop notification was colored red. I would love to see Textra go back to colored notifications

  19. Not receiving specific messages !!!

    Please design the ability to not receive specific messages. For example messages with a specific word or phrase. If any message contains this content, it will be automatically filtered and stored in the hidden messages section and no message alert will be played for these messages. "Spam" // For example messages whose texts contain words (armor) or (Arnold) are transmitted to secret and secret messages without Notification sound
