    the current search function returns all instances of a word/phrase from all contacts. the ability to search within messages from a single group chat and/or a single contact would be useful

  3. Buffer space for one-handed use

    I would love an option to have messages start lower on the screen, similar to Samsung and Google Messages. My wife is having to migrate away from Samsung Messages and this is one of her biggest complaints.

    Twice, entire threads were accidentally deleted bc of your annoying swipe-delete, & you do not allow swipe to be turned off in Settings. LET ME DECIDE if I want swipe or not!
