  3. Transfer text messages to another phone

    my mom recently passed away and I dont want to lose our texts for the past years. Iwould like to keep them forever. Will it be possible that we may be able to transfer our messages received from an old phone to a new phone? would really appreciate that. I love Textra btw, been using it since 2014

  5. Copy the text of call history.

    I'd like to be able to copy or move the text of a specific call or calls from call history to a location of my choice. Maybe to Google Keep or other note app.

  7. Smart Response w/o Enter Button

    Create a button that allows Smart Responses to be sent without having to press the enter button after. The point of smart response is to make it a quick text message. Pressing enter should not be expected after a smart response is selected!

  8. Notification issue while in conversation

    I have the setting for notifications to 'not notify' while in conversation, however, it still does...it's annoying to be getting those while chatting.
    Is this a known issue? Or is there a solution?

    I use my phone for personal and business.
    Is there a way to add my signature only to the texts I want and not for others?
    Like a selection button when I want to use it. Also, it would really be neat to create and choose a signature for different purposes.
    Like one for personal, one for business.

    Like google messages there should be the option to connect as web.

    Your application is having all of the best and combined features than others application. Any user cannot go anywhere if he used textra.

    Ithink so hiawei and other android should use Textra as the default app for messaging

  13. Need ability to define ringtones by group membership

    I am hoping to be able to set unique text tones for each group in my Google contacts or Samsung a20s phone contacts.

    I installed Textra so that I could set a unique text ringtone for individuals but would really like different text tones (including custom tones) for groups like Family or Coworkers or Racing Friends. I had this feature on my old Lotus Elite phone, lost it on my iPhone, and thought I'd get it back on my new Android device.

  16. Bug - can't find group when search string has a trailing slave

    When I swipe (with Swype) a name, Textra can't find the matching group because Swype adds a final space character (as a separator) and Textra can't find the group when the search string has a space at the end. Oddly, it can find an individual's name with an extra space at the end - just not a group.
    That should be fixed, but maybe you could add: if there are no matches, show "fuzzy" matches, maybe in a different font or color. Maybe add a checkbox to temporarily enable fuzzy search at any time.
    Also, maybe add a check box…

  18. Provide ability to block non-numeric numbers

    I receive messages from an alpha ID which varies each time I receive one. I would like to be able to block all non-numeric numbers.

    When i delete a message thread, it appears again. I love the app and wanted to also send a suggestion. I would like to be able to customize the background with pictures. Thank you!

  20. Editing Group Recipients

    I create a group message and save it as a draft. When I go back to it I cannot edit the recipients. WHY?
    Really annoying because I have to trash the Draft and start over!
