  1. Show whether contact is texting from personal or work phone

    I have contacts in my address book with. both personal and work numbers. Sometimes I have to message them to only their personal number or only their work number. it would be useful if the message thread view made it clear whether the recent messages are from the work number or the personal number.

  2. Please add the option to set Textra as the default app for receiving emergency, amber and presidential alerts

    Right now I have to receive all emergency alerts through my default Messages app on my Samsung Galaxy S8, even though I use Textra for all other messaging. PLEASE add this option?

    it would be great to support heic image format. right now it partially support it. it doesnt keep the rotation but at least you can send a mms

  7. spell correction

    I have delay send set. If I find a misspelled word I should be able to just press on it to get it corrected prior to sending but that doesn't work. Please add this feature.

  8. Reset to original settings (default)

    I absolutely LOVE the myriad of settings but I would like to have a reset option to clear any changes I've made to my Textra app while I'm inebriated... 🤣

    it will ne great to swipe to have sim1 or sim2 only on the screen. because actually the messages are mixed. and also the icon to choose sim1 or sim2 is too close from the send icon. i regularly misschange the sim when i just want to tap send. thanks you

  18. Add in iOS texting features

    Features like the ability to like a message or picture and whatnot. For instance if someone sends you a message, you can react to it and have it send a message back saying: Loved "(Insert message here)"

  19. Custom Notification Sounds

    I am on a list of people who can get emergency text messages in the middle of the night. I would like to be able to customize did notification sound for that particular source of text messages. maybe Textra already has a way of doing that, but I haven't been able to figure it out. if there is no way to do it I would like that to be a future feature.
