Pitch black
Please have an option of making the automatic dark background completely black, as in pitch black. It's just a nicer look and makes everything stand out more.

we should be able to customize what swipe does.
We should be able to customize what swipe does. For example, I would like to be able to swipe right on my messages to lock or unlock them to the top of the screen instead of "delete."

Number of contacts in thread
Please indicate the number of contacts in any given thread. Very important to see that number so that you don't send your thought to the wrong group. I have many threads with almost the same people. But the slight variation is important to distinguish. Many other message apps already do this.

Activity quick message
Allow the quick message popup to be launched from an activity instead of just from the persistent notification. It could be useful for some automatization like with Tasker for example.
Searching a bit I found the activity "com.textra/com.mplus.lib.ui.integration.IntegrationActivity" but this doesn't work properly. Adding explicitly an activity for that would be a good idea.1 vote -

Snooze notifications
It would be fabulous to have a way to snooze all notifications for a certain amount of time - 1 hour, 4 hrs, a week, etc.

Save all media in conversation
I've seen this requested multiple times but no responses.
When factory resetting my phone, I would also like to save all of the pictures, that are located in the media option, in each conversation. They are saved somehow on the phone because you can see everything that was shared in that conversation. Why can't we find them on our internal storage drive? Only way I've found is to save each one individually, but when there are hundreds of photos, that is just ridiculous.

more than 10 in a group text
For work I am constantly sending group texts unfortunately it is usually to more than 10 people. As of now I have to count 10, stop, type and send text then start all over again to count 10 more and repeat... Apple is able to send to more than 10 people at one time...
It would be really nice if we could do that also.
