  3. notification schedules

    I think a great idea would be to be about to set schedules for notifications in the notification privacy settings. for example:

    set show/hide message text from 7 am to 4 pm.

    it would be useful for work when i don't want notifications to display message text but i still want to know who messaged me instead of enabling/disabling constantly in the notification settings.

  4. Separate conversations on the main list

    Separate the different conversations by alternating background colors or shades of grey. Could even use bold lines.

  5. Increase notification time

    Now the notifications pop up and disappear fairly quickly. It would be beneficial to be able to increase the time that the notifications stay visible.

    textra icon not a circle on Android 10 pixel, but the original speach bubble inside a white circle. Please change back to slick unicolor circle as before.

    When you are deleting messages, it would be nice to have the choice to select all instead if having to select them individually.

  10. Sent/Received Icon

    A small icon on each conversation that changes depending on whether the last message in the conversation was sent by you or by someone else. E.G. a return arrow symbol next to messages that I sent.

    I would be nice to be able to delay a notification. (the best would be from the notification itself)
    For instance, you get a message but can't reply now, so you just tap on "Delay for 10 mins".

  16. Remaining in a conversation while multi-tasking.

    I would like the option to have textra remain in an ongoing conversation when switching ba k and forth between apps. As it is now, when I switch back to textra I'm pushed back to the list of all ongoing conversations, which is annoying since the last convo is in the top left of the screen. Impractical when using a large phone with one hand.

  17. enlarging pics

    the capability of enlarging a picture that you have attached in a text to make sure it is the exact picture that you wanted as if you cannot enlarge a picture that you have attached. it would be nice to be able to examine what you're sending

  18. Secure, Encrypted Messaging Option

    I think there should be an option to be able to encrypt and send secure messages. Maybe make it an option when you click the 3 dots on the top right of the screens dropdown menu. And I believe these kinds of messages should be separate from the normal messaging kind of like how Facebook has its "Secret Conversations" feature. Finally, I think these messages should also be protected from others viewing them by locking all these kinds of messages with a password authenticator. (Password, Passcode, Fingerprint, ect.) Maybe make it a separate purchase after pro, people would buy it.…

  19. erase messages sent

    just like WhatsApp u should have a half hr or in your case 1hr to erase messages sent from not only my phone but from all phones a message is sent to now that is cool WhatsApp messaging is the best out there not even cell phone providers are doing it I think that is awesome feature that kills all messenger platforms make textra be that more awesome as well

  20. Downvote Ideas/Comment

    Some of these "ideas" are wack and impossible for the Textra team to accomplish due to the SMS platform. It would be nice to have a thread to discuss these things, and maybe the ability to downvote ideas instead of only upvote. Anyways nice app, I'd pay more if I could.
