Custom Title
An option to change where it says "Textra" at the top left corner to whatever we want it to say. Also settings to change the font & size of that title font separately from the regular font & size settings of messages.

Profile photo in conversation
Why is there still no option to have contact photo next to individual messages? This is the one and only feature at this point that I think this sms app is missing for visual customization. Great app though and definitely my default sms app on any Android phone

Make the design more modern
The app is great the only reason why I don't use it anymore is because the design feels outdated and kinda clunky. Round the corner a bit, add a black mode type dark mode. Make it more comfortable. I love the super customizabolity of the app, it works fantastic. The design just needs an update

Custom Notification Sound per Contact
Rather than setting a custom notification at the conversation level, it would be better if we could set a custom notification for a contact. That way, we'd get a consistent (custom) sound for a contact regardless of whether the message was in an individual thread or a group thread.

check box or follow up box type option on texts
When we get a text message, if there were a Box to check that we need to respond or follow up with it, it would help keep track of messages and responses

Improved Dark Gray
The current dark gray colour seems lighter than normal. I suggest to use the #121212 dark gray its much better and is used in the dark mode per material design standard

Notification in Car
Need the app to play the notification sound when in a car and connected to Bluetooth. I want to say it used to do so. As it stands now no sound plays.

Hello. I'm having a problem with textra. I have several google accounts on my phone but only one has synced contacts. yet on textra, I see all the contacts of my different accounts. is it possible to trace only the contacts of a single account? thank you

Custom Vibrate Only When Phone on Vibrate Mode
It would be nice to have a custom vibrate pattern that works only when the phone is on vibrate, and just a notification tone when the phone is on ring mode (i.e. when the phone is on ring mode, it would be nice if it did not also vibrate). 🙂

Dual sim phone
Hello, it is very inconvenient that sim switch button is right next to send buttonnif you use only one sim for sms. I think the best solution would be if you would add ant option in settings: use only sim1 for messaging - use only sim2 for messaging - use sim1 and sim2 for messaging. I think everyone would be happy with this new option.

colored notifications
I have found a way to change the color from white to another color. if you go into a contacts messages settings and change the contact color the notification icon will be that color
