Enlarge emoticons
It would be nice to have a possibility to enlarge emoticons in both received and sent messages. Now there is possible only to enlarge emoticons while writing a message.

Need an option to import and export messages, with support for Google Drive. This will help to restore messages upon switching to new mobile phone.

when searching texts
I've noticed a "bug" if I may call it that.. when I search for an sms.. the name of the person comes up.. no problem there.. then I send a message to that person... then when I reopen the app its still in search mode for that person.. really unnecessary in my opinion

screen pop up and over the game replying function
a notification style which does not interrupt the game . where i can reply without the game freezong underneat while im replying. usually when i reply during playing. example when in playing ml it freezez and sometmes it exits.
thanks. just an idea. but over all textra is the best messenger for me.

Progress bar or dial
when sending a large video it can sometimes take quite a while if the mobile connection is poor. it would be nice to see a progress bar or dial to give an indication of how long it might take.

It only displays Day/Time of text I send. I'm unable to see the Time/Day that I received text.

Can you look into making it possible to preview the GIF before attaching. Some GIFs look good on the app users gather from buy then when sent, look very choppy as well as look choppy but when sent, look really good.

Expand color options and labeling for colorblind
Have a great range of color customization options but including some more less common colors (i.e. Gold, silver, copper).
As someone whom is colorblind finding a specific color can be difficult, being able to long press on a color and get that color's name would help immensely.

Save & Restore Textra Settings
I've had multiple occasions where I needed to reinstall Textra or I get a new phone and download Textra. There should be a setting where you can save your settings as a file and you can restore your settings with that file in the app.

Access to Calendar Event's
it would be nice if there was a way to get to the calendar from the app. it would be nice to be able access to calendar when I'm planning or scheduling events. is that possible?

Auto Theme Colors for Contacts
Auto Theme Colors for Contacts is great but it changes the bubble colors to the contact colour. Can we keep the bubble colors as we set them in bubble colors.

I'd like to be able to choose from a color wheel or a color matrix as in adobe softwares (or even MS Paint 😋). it'd also be great to offer a color scheme based on the color I choose

filter or screen texts by customizable content
create filters that can block matching incoming texts based on content. should be able to exclude known contacts from applying filter, and a daily notification with number of screened texts as well as the option to briefly review them all at once in a list of something.
also should allow for blocking of entire blocks of numbers, so like when robo texters send from 949-332-1111, 949-332-1112, etc, can just block 949-332-**** and take care of all of them

messages don't show as read
when I open a text message and read it and then close the app without responding or pressing the back icon, the message remains as UNREAD. can you make it so once a message is opened, it then becomes a read message?

Inbox, Outbox and Sent Folder just like emails..
It will be nice to have Inbox, Outbox and Sent folders to chatagorize nature of sms..
Secondly...Privacy Folder is a must feature....along with Archiving feature to a customized location of choice..11 votes
