  1. external storage please

    no description necessary... common friggin sense at this point. my textra app has 10g of internal storage used... let us use our external cards please.
    make it an option for paid users like me please.

  2. Customization and quality of life ideas.

    I love the new notification icons you can choose I would just like to be able to choose their color like before. Also the ability to search pictures sent in a conversation. Maybe a button to display only pictures in a conversation. Thank you for reading.

  3. Galaxy Note 9 lock screen notification

    My current experience with my new note 9 and Textra has been that if I lock my phone with Textra open, when I get a notification it only appears for a moment before automatically clearing itself. My thoughts are that the app isn't recognizing the lock screen and think I'm still in the app so it auto clears the notification because "I'm in the app" when in reality my phone is locked. any solutions?

  4. Change Notification icon

    don't like the new white only notifications. but nothing I've asked for to help me such as using the word CELL as well as Mobile is ever approved. I don't care what the rest of the world uses. this is America and most of us use Cell numbers. But guess I will have to find an app that is more attuned you people here in America and you can take your app to the countries who you DO support.

    Currently in general view it is not clear whether the user or the contact sent the last message. would be good if this could be indicated in a subtle way.

    Might as well go ahead and make all Textra style emojis available as icons. You can make iOS & other styles as paid add-ons later.
    Losing the color option sucks, but at least this provides more options moving forward

  10. SIM option should only be available when multiple SIM cards are active

    currently the SIM 1/2 option is shown when two cards are installed, even when one of them is disabled.
    It would also be great with options in the settings for dual SIM usage, eg always 1, always 2, use system default, choose per message. And then only show the 1/2 option in the compose message if it's the last option; choose per message, and both SIM's are active :-)

    this was a great feature and a strong reason I liked this app. still love it, and that's why I pay for it, but I don't understand the logic behind removing a customizable option unless newer OSs made it difficult.

  13. New "no icon color" notifications rule effective 11/01/18

    Well, that pretty much sucks. So much for a better app and getting away from Google 's monopoly.
    Your Textra app has a couple glitches, like no new text message notifications for any incoming texts on the Government issued ZTE, Android OS smart phones. Notifications do appear with the default texting app, but not with Textra, which is sad. Think you guys will ever get this fixed? It's still a problem, even after the two and half years ago when I wrote to you about it.

  15. bring back later option on notification

    prior to the last update you cold view a floating view of a text then choose to return it to the notification bar with the later option. this had been replaced with a leave unreasonably option which still removes the notification. this is substantially less useful as keeping the notification is much better at reminding me of the text for future response. please bring this back
