compact conversation/thread list
I find it that there is a lot of space in between individual text conversations. Most other apps have very limited space between which I feel makes four much better user interface and allows you to see more conversations rather than have to scroll down to see them. I have a suggested this before that have yet to see the implementation and furthermore notice this format for most other messaging apps. as such it puzzles me that Textra does not implement this.

Text Grouping
Pinning messages is a great feature, but it would be outstanding if I can Group conversations, like having folders/subfolders. Example, if there's several pinned convos for a wedding, and several of my family, and others for work, I'll be able to group the pinned conversations so it would be a cleaner more organized interface and I'll be able to find what I'm looking for with ease. Let me know if you need me to elaborate further.

not sure how iPhones use data to send videos. would be nice if textra would enable my samsung to send and receive video somehow someway

Web Access
Would be nice if there's was a way to message using the web with Textra. Not a web connected to the phone like Google messages, but rather a standalone one like Pulse.

pop up windows
I don't wanna have to hit the message box for the pop up window to show id like ate pop up window to just be there automatically when I get a message so I can quickly respond.

text counter and individual wallpapers per contacts conversation. the amount of text back and forth between two people jus like to see it and not have to pull back on the contact to see that ive text someone 20000 times id like it it next to there names incase I have to screen shot how many text we've had since we started

It would be nice if there were an easier way to open your message from the home screen notification that is given. It is hard to do so by tapping the teenie tiny down arrow to expand your message.

Square frame for photos
Give us the ability to choose a square frame for contacts. I'm not really crazy about the round frame for contact photos. Plus, they would make the photos of multiple people in group texting stand out or more visible.

Why I no longer use Textra
Seriously I am a professional user and dont use Textra anymore although I recommended it to a bunch of people because you can't message from Desktop like the new Google messenger app, and also how can u not have SUBJECT???

Privacy when locked
I like being able to see the contact when the phone is locked, so that's great, but I'd love to be able to display the message when the phone is unlocked, so I don't have to click the notification

Battery Saver
Animations cost a lot of battery power.
Is it possible to cut out the animations optionally and/or forcefully?
Like, normally when you send or receive texts, you get a small animation where the bubble fluidly moves upward and appears on the screen, whereas when you send one, the text box begins to send the text, it converts into a bubble, changes to the desired color and font, and lastly appears on the message history.
Would it be possible to program the ability just to flat out remove the animation process and just have the text bubbles appear on-screen rather than…1 vote
