  1. Suppress Notification of Multiple Messages

    Often times, SMS messages are split into multiple messages if they are too large. many people send books creating upwards of 4-5 messages post-split. When this occurs, the phone goes crazy ringing 5 times at once. It would be nice if there was a feature to suppress multiple notifications within a time period (say, 5 seconds.)

  5. Being able to see someone typing or getting a notification they saw the message.

    When you are texting someone, there should be a notification when they are typing and when they saw the message.

    An option to convert Textra's own .db SMS database (not Android's stock database) into a .xml file for better SMS recovery...

  7. Pro only features

    Just an idea to have certain features (maybe the harder to develop or most requested) be pro only. Therefore there's more incentive to buy pro, and maybe more reason to develop new features.

    Please add a private box where encrypted private conversations can be hidden even on stock messaging app and can only be unlocked with fingerprint.

  12. Blocking and Blacklisting Contacts

    Instead of just hiding the SMS or MMS of the Blocked/Blacklisted Contact why can't we have an option to either save or not save the message. Certain Contacts I've Blocked for a reason and I don't want to see their SMS or MMS...like Ex Wife, Ex Girlfriend, etc.

  13. recurring texts

    It would be a simple add on to add a reccurring feature to the send later option when scheduling a text. I have a weekly meeting for which I send reminder texts.I have to use a separate texting app to have automated recurring texts.I believe Textra is flexible enough to add that feature. What do you think?

  14. Driving Mode

    A mode to send automatic replies while driving. Once enabled have settings to auto enable if paired to a specific device or option to set status as "driving" from the notification drawer. Have the option to manually set your reply ahead of time like "Sup bruh.. can't chat right now I'm driving" and to only respond once to each conversation within a specified time window. Options to also disable all Textra notificatios while driving mode is enabled to prevent distraction to the driver.   15. Location sharing

    There needs to be a location sharing option similar to WhatsApp. Using Google maps as the default integration platform. In other words where you can add pictures, etc there should be an option for location sharing

    Sort option for contacts. I want to sort contacts by last name! Your default is first name sort. Business users sort contacts by LAST NAME! PLEASE!

  18. Text Size Change

    Be able to change the size of both 1. your messages within the chat and 2. The Sender name within the message list by pinching in and out within the chat or by using the volume buttons.

    The default Samsung messengers do that and is great for accessibility reasons for people with impaired vision like me!

  19. Back up settings

    Please please allow you to do a back up with settings I don't necessarily care about my text messages but back up all the settings and colors in have set up. Like how nova launcher gives you the ability to do so. It is a huge time saver when you get a new phone.
