  1. hands-free text announcement

    whenever I have my Bluetooth headset connected, I would like for a feature to be turned on where it will instantly read out my text as I receive them. the feature the Moto support allows me to reply also but I just wanted to read the text out loud if my Bluetooth is connected.

  2. Option to align messages to one side of the screen

    Give the visual customization option of having all messages align to one side of the screen or the other. This would be in contrast to the current setting of received messages being on the left and sent messages on the right.

  3. Messages-to-keep by timeframe

    Could you change the "Messages-to-keep" option to be based on timeframe rather than the number of messages? For instance, it could delete messages older than 90 days, or 6 months, or 1 year automatically.

    The new Customization should be related to the apps function.
    I don't see anything I would use because it's not text messages related

  12. Stop trying to contact Facebook when paid and ad-free!

    Please, please, please stop trying to reach out to Facebook's ad and data gathering servers (edge-star-shv-01-lga3.facebook.com) when the user has paid for and chooses to remain ad-free.

    What business does Textra have trying to talk to Facebook anyway?

    My device has ABSOLUTELY ZERO Facebook apps, services or social connections onboard, and Textra attempts to reach out to Facebook (for what?!) every 3 minutes, around the clock.

    Not only does this prevent the device's CPU from powering down and entering deep sleep states, unnecessarily draining the battery, but it also opens up potential security issues with data over-reach.

  13. regarding notification

    When I receive a notification of a text, my options are "Leave unread" or "Reply". If I don't read it, then it is automatically left unread, so why do I need a button for that? Instead, the options should be "Mark as read" and "Reply."

  17. address recognition

    I get lots of address by text message since I'm always on the road but I always got to copy and paste it in Google maps and since we can only copy the whole message, not just a small part, it's not practical. My idea is, make textra recognize home address like other apps we only click on it then it brings us directly to google maps. Thanks for reading and sorry for my English it's not my first language.   19. React to the messages SMS and MMS

    Facebook messenger has where you can just react to the messages like for example.
    " Are you ready to go?" - react with a thumbs up. Instead of having to send a text with just an emoji.
    I know many of us would love this feature.

  20. delete messages options

    I have set to "keep all" messages. based on situation, I may want to delete messages older than x days/months to try to shrink the app.. for certain people. within a convo, the only choice is to delete one by one. no real options when wanting to delete backward.
