  2. Search locked messages & lock all

    When you are in the conversation thread there should be a "search locked" option when activated brings up only the locked statements in chronological order of that particular respondent. As it is now you have to rumage through all the crap just to get to the one locked bubble you saved 2 months ago .....pain in the ass. Also there should be a "lock all" option as well so that you can lock ALL the comments in one respondents conversation.

  5. Possible Bugs with notifications

    I have found 2 possible bugs with Textra notifications:

    • Too many notifications coming in at once temporarily lock the UI thread.

    • Multiple "Cannot get MMS" messages tend to cause conversations to have persistent unread message notifications until the conversation is deleted.

    Let me expain my situation that has caused me to find these bugs. I cannot get sms or mms messages at my work (I am aware that this is an issue with my service provider and not with the app). Pretty much all day I get notices that Textra "Cannot get mms."

  6. Archive Messages

    Rather than just permanently delete messages, it would be fantastic if you could archive messages. This was one of the features in Google Hangouts that I used the most and found incredibly helpful.

    Sometimes you want to clean up your inbox so you don't have hundreds of conversations floating around in it that you have to scroll through, but you don't necessarily want to lose some conversations forever by deleting them.     Ok so firstly: Textra is, according to many, THE BEST texting app out there. In my opinion there is only one major feature missing: a protected area for messages you want to keep private. Seriously. Textra has all the other customization options. Why not that???

  8. Customized wallpaper background for chat conversations list and chat

    It would be nice to use an image in the background for the conversation view that shows all the contacts that you've chatted with also customize the background for the current chat too; very similar to a feature found in crunchsms, thanks for reading.

    I would love if I was able to change the color of text within the bubble. I don't like how the app automatically chooses black or white. I would like to have the option of the color myself.

  12. Why is the Textra App so big? My app is now 2.1GB

    I was shocked to see that the Textra app is 2.02GB in size. Please let me know how to reduce the size of the app. Thanks.

  14. Quick Reply auto close V3.24

    Funny, new feature in v3.24 doesn't actually exist.

    NEW: Do you wish Quick Reply didn't auto-close after sending a message, so you can continue to chat? See Settings > Customize Notifications > Auto Close Quick Reply.

    "Auto Close Quick Reply" isn't in the Settings on my phone.

  15. I want my mobile data to automatically turn on and off when sending pictures

    On my old phone I could send any picture or video without having to turn on and off my data. Now I have to, and I would like for the old feature to be put back. It makes things a lot easier.

    When the message appears above, let us pull down on it to reveal a response box. Awsms has this and it's much better than opening one large quick reply.

  19. Option to save conversations to SD by default

    All conversations and their data are saved to the internal storage of a phone. Why not have the option to save them to your SD card if you have one? Many phones have a small amount of internal storage, forcing people to delete conversations to free up space.

  20. Auto respond while driving

    Turn on custom or default automatic response when driving. Turn on manually or when connected to selected bluetooth device. Show automatic responses in conversation. Turn off pop up notifications when auto response on.
