  2. Option to always open the app

    Please give us the option to choose to always open the app when we press the sms button in our contacts. Not the window. The whole app exactly like in chomp sms.

    I noticed there is no option to change the background to something else. I would like something colorful, not a plain old background.

  6. backup and restore theme settings (and other settings)

    Much like nova launcher it would be nice if this app had an option to create a restore file to restore the custom user settings such as the theme or "send delay" settings

  8. Textra should recognize addresses like the stock app and turn them into Google maps links.

    Textra should recognize street addresses like the stock text app and turn them into Google maps links. Textra already does this for phone numbers and email address's. Do it for street addresses too.

  10. Group Message Toggle in Text

    Someone else has posted this idea, but it isn't in effect yet. You can toggle between group or individual messages in the main menu, but it is a pain to go there each time to make that distinction. would be awesome if toggle was right there on group text page so you can toggle it to have replies go to everyone or just you and you choose each time

  11. Select all search results

    when searching conversations there needs to be a select all results option I receive a lot of text messages from work via an automated system that uses a lot of different numbers but the same prefix currently I have to search for the prefix and delete each individual conversation manually I see no reason why I can't select all search results

  12. Allow customization of failed notification sound

    The changelog for version Version 3.22 says "Failed Notifications (e.g. Mobile Data is off when receiving an MMS) now play a (failed) ringtone". The tone that's currently used isn't the notification sound I chose in my Textra settings, and it isn't the default notification sound for my device -- I can't even figure out which sound it is, much less change it to something else. Is there a way to change this?

    It would be nice to have an option to simply sent messenge form the template when I'm in hurry and I have no time to answer. It even only one predefined by user would be enough.

  16. Bug Report: Push messages notification problem

    I have a Galaxy S6 Active G890 running android version 6.0.1
    I keep getting push messages regarding reaching my high speed data running out from T mobile, but they are not comming in to textra, but to the stock messaging app as push notification. Unless i remove textra from being my default app and read that message it won't go away, making it rather annoying to use textra as my main app.
    Although, i do love this app, but wish this could be fixed.

  18. Search specific text threads.

    Let's say I want to search NBA in my texts with Mike . The app only let's you search all the texts, not just the specific thread with Mike. I don't need to see the rest of the texts I said NBA with everyone else. Just Mike.

  19. Undoing deleted Text Threads.

    it'd be really nice to be able to undo a delete on text threads. although having the confirm option before deleting us great, I today literally deleted the wrong thread by accident. so I confirmed it thinking I was deleting an unimportant text, and instead deleted an entire thread of someone I just really didn't mean to. very sad

  20. Pro version not ad-free?

    Textra is a great texting app. Today I sent a link to a Microsoft site to a friend and got a Microsoft ad appended to the end of the message. I do of course have the Pro version of the app which I thought was ad-free. This does not appear to be so. What's the point of a Pro version?
