Send videos in-app
From what I can tell, there is no way to send videos over MMS within the Textra app. It's really annoying having to open the video, select share, then select Textra.

Timed Mute
Is it possible to set a timer on muting a particular thread? Instead of having to manually unmute, having the option to mute it for 1hr, 2hr, 8hr, etc or "until I manually switch back". Sometimes I will mute a group convo that's distracting, but I forget to turn it back on.

Les polices de caractères et arrière plan
Vraiment votre application me plaît de par ça rapidité et ça fluidité dans le traitement des SMS ! Je pense vraiment que si vous ajoutez des options de police de caractère et d'image d'arrière plan ça va booster son utilisation de par mes connaissances en management ! contact categories
it'd be nice to separate contacts and set them to arrive in separate inboxes i.e. Work, Family, Close Friends, etc. It's a hassle going through all my texts to delete certain threads and being able to put them in categories would make it so much faster.

Sorting by personal or work
It would be nice to avoid accidental and embarrassing messages sent to Co workers or the incorrect person. I'd like to have a way to categorize people into groups within the text message list. Put Co workers into one "box" that shows visual separation from personal contacts. Even having a color coding option for work contacts would be great . Example : Co workers have a red highlight background so visually right away o see red and know that's a co worker and not a personal message, Friend or family

Backup Settings/Data
How About A function to Backup all textra App Settings:
Conversation Customizations, Backing Up Text & Media and overall app preferences. It is a bother some to put your personal settings every time.

Export settings
Need data file containing all the settings so that it can be installed as it is in new mobile. Settings should have all like blacklist, customization etc etc.

Importing messages from default SMS/MMS app and from xml file
When starting for the first time Textra should ask if it should import system archive with sms/mms. Then there should be menu entry to import massages from xml files, that were exported from other app. Both options are present in Signal, which I am leaving now in favor of Textra. Export to xml would also be welcome.

Change Navigation Bar Color
I have an S8 and the navigation bar at the bottom is white and I use the dark theme for Textra. it would be nice if you could theme the navigation bar so that the contrast isn't so stark.

Backup/Restore Settings and theme
add the ability to export a file with theme and settings (and possibly backed up texts?)
and the ability to restore this file(much how nova launcher works it works perfectly being able to back this file to Google drive)

Bubble Style
An "outlined" style bubble would add more variety to the choices. Right now only solid color bubble styles are offered.
