    not sure why android messages appear chronologically vs just sorting new unread messages at the top? or having the option to change this in settings.

  4. Filter out iOS "liked" messages

    Whenever someone on iOS "likes" a message, I get a text message that just says "liked", among with the message contents. Can such messages be filtered out, so that I don't get pointless notifications on them?

  6. Change storage location of messages

    I'd like to be able to change the location where my messages are saved on my phone. Optimally, I'd like to be able to move them to my phone's SD card, but this would also make it easier for me to manually backup my phone's messages.

    I really enjoy this app and it works great. but I'm switching to an encrypted sms app. I hope one day textra is a secure/encrypted app and I'd download it again in a heartbeat.

  12. Convert single SMS to MMS on the fly

    It would be great if I could convert an SMS message to an MMS message by holding the send button down. Holding the send button down could be used to toggle between SMS and MMS. If it's an MMS message, having a pop-up subject box would be useful that I could fill out. An example of this functionality can be seen in Google's Android Messaging.

  13. The keyboard compatibility

    With the Galaxy update I can't use the features of the app (emojis, GIFs, Pic attachment, etc) because the Samsung keyboard is in the way and there is no way to get out of the last used feature when you hit the "+" button

  14. Add/Delete members from group chat/text message group.

    I'm in 2 groups for my college for classes I am in and it is annoying that each time I want to add someone I have to start up a new group, same with removing someone.

    This would be awesome to be added in the next version.

  16. Repeat scheduled SMS option (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly)

    The option to repeat scheduled SMSs (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) will be a great add and a major key deferentiator between other apps.
    many need to send the same message on regular basis (reminders, birthday messages, etc)
    and saves the hassle of getting another App.

  18. Add/Remove people in a group text

    It would be very nice to be able to add and remove people from a group text. On occasion, I have forgotten to include someone in a group text. Instead of conveniently being able to add someone, I've had to create an entire new group text. Or if I decide I no longer want/need someone in the group text I've created, I should be able to remove a person.

  19. text to email addresses

    I brought this up before but it's been awhile. I'm hoping you'll incorporate this....

    currently, if I start entering an email address (that's associated with an entry in my address book), Textra is not able to find that email address, so I have to toe the whole address in.

    I often send a "text" to personal and work email addresses. I'm sure others do this as well. Please add support for this feature. It's long overdue.
