  1. Custom icons for contact notifications

    Very straightforward. I'd like to be able to use custom icons for notifications that I create myself. Or download some from a gallery created by users.

  2. Allow custom font sizing and custom fonts.

    what about using the volume buttons to tweak the size of your own font to your liking? thing i'v noticed is that the size difference between normal and larger is too great. I'd also love a choice of fonts, or if that's too much to implement, something to make the current font look nicer, like adjusting the weight to condenses, or light. the size is the issue here though. almost every aspect of textra is there, it's just the font issue for me now!

  3. Pinch to Zoom Text

    Pinch to zoom text. HTC utlizes it in their messaging app. Will allow you to zoom in and back the text bigger. When you zoom out the letters become smaller. Works great if you need a screenshot of a text message and need to shrink up the amount of information you can capture in the screenshot.

  4. Remove certain emojis (such as middle finger)

    I don't like the middle finger emoji, I personally find it offensive. We should be able to remove certain ones.

  5. saving pictures from within textra app to phone's gallery

    I'd like to be able to save pics taken (and sent to me) from within the Textra app to my phone's gallery. Maybe I'm missing something, but even after selecting the "download" option, I'm only able to view Textra pics by opening the gallery from within the Textra app - they don't appear in my gallery when opening the gallery from my home screen.

  7. A couple of things.

    1. One swipe to delete a thread. Pointless swiping to show the trashcan then tapping it twice to delete.

    2. A way to auto delete messages older than a set period and to mark the ones you don't want deleted.

  8. Android Wear Integration

    Give better support for android wear. Let the users send voice recorded message from watch. This is very useful when driving or when busy. Also, as an option please enable checking past messages directly from watch.

    please add unread message count above the app icon. The unread message notification is great but having it shown above the app icon would be helpful as well.

  10. Scheduled messages

    The stock messaging app for the Galaxy S6 and other messaging apps have a scheduled messaging feature. I think it'd be really awesome to integrate it into the app!

  12. Ability to use the flash when taking pictures.

    It would be great if you guys added the option to use the flash when taking pictures. Not so fun when trying to take a picture of something in the dark.

  14. copy portions of text in a message instead of only being able to copy the whole message.

    it would be incredibly helpful to highlight and copy specific world or sections of text in one message. at this time only the whole message can be copied.

  16. Move delayed messages up so you can start typing a new message

    The delayed send feature is excellent! One thing that could make it even better is if the delayed messages were moved up into the thread (where the sent messages are) so that you could start typing the next message. The timer could go to the left of each delayed message. This would probably also leave room in the UI for a "send now" button, as suggested elsewhere.

    If you want to edit the delayed sending, you can just tap the cancel button. The delayed text gets moved into the text box for editing. When that message is sent, the stuff…

    Placing the contact pictures by the messages in the conversation window. That's especially useful in group messaging

  19. Enable splitscreen support

    To enable splitscreen support so you can have textra and another app open on the screen at the same time like YouTube for example. This is a feature many phones support now. Including my stock galaxy s6 message app.
